I haven’t put much time into a fighting game since barf SFxT and I’m currently out of the loop, but I was wondering if there’s anything coming out any time soon that will be worth playing?
No, but there’s a bazillion games already out worth sinking your time into.

Capcom wise there’s rumors of a Darkstalkers 4, and an all Capcom vs. game…but nothing brand new that’s certain or has a release date. The only thing confirmed is a re release of cvs2 that will probably be a shitty port. Which all of the veteran players will denounce it and no one will play it.
As far as non Capcom stuff…there’s a lot of stuff that’s out but nothing that will be the big game. Its not really that time for anything to be the big game. Guilty Gear was the last non Capcom game to pull really big numbers at tourneys and nothing else has really done that since.
There’s a lot of games that are worth playing including Tekken Tag, VF5, Skullgirls, KOF13 and more. Its just none of those games are super new or will be the big game for a long time if ever. Not really gonna have another big game for a while.

Over the next couple of years, Unless SF5 is coming there might not be one, since dudes make up all kinds of crazy nonsense reasons not to even touch non-capcom games. With that in mind the only thing that could maybe do it is a new Darkstalkers if its actually good.

Also a Naruto side scroller like the old days (turtles, double dragon etc.,) - I’m looking forward to that one sometime around May
Dark Stalkers Ressurection - this month or Feb I can’t remember (I’ll get it because I like trips down memory lane, unlikely I’ll play it very long though)
Dark Stalkers 4 - although not given a release date we assume it’ll be on this current Gen…wouldn’t surprise me at all if it is a launch title for next gen though.

But like other member already said, there are a good amount of good games out there, instead of wondering what game is coming next you should be more interested on knowing where do you can go to play the games you like locally
