you speak the truth! i’ve been noticing that a lot lately. im playing more an more cammys online, plus i’m getting more friend requests after a cammy-induced beatdown asking for some casuals to get better at the matchup.
i guess all it took was a certain cammy to take down the beast and now everyone wants to try and play her!

I just laugh when that happens. I laugh harder when its a rog or ryu. I am sure I still have the screenshots of a few of the ragequits and hatemail I got somewhere…I should find them again, they were good for a laugh.
Edit: Found em, and yes they are still most amusing. A pity my skill has taken such a dive since I moved to the stick though, almost all of them were from when I used the fightpad only.

The upside of frustration! Last night Rokubear and I had a couple epic sessions and after the first session, which was like 12-1 or something like that, I finally realized how badly my HDTV (viewsonic N4060W if anyone wants to know) was lagging. The jumping lk, bnb combo was getting to me every time because my TV was lagging so badly I couldn’t respond fast enough even when I was mashing like mad (mashing based on the crappy visual cues are useless). So after getting super frustrated and pissed off, I finally busted out my XBOX VGA cable (yeah I still own the old pro version without HDMI) and decided to hook it up to my 7 yr old NEC multisync VGA monitor. What a difference it made. I still lost horribly vs Rokubear (because he is simply way better than me), but at least I was able to put up some challenge for him. Lesson learned: when playing against good players, HDTV (LCD) Input lag is simply unacceptable at that level… I can’t believe I had been playing on my laggy HTDV for years…

Rokubear is a beast.
I use an LCD TV with the VGA Cable. I haven’t noticed any lag. It’s an important factor with Cammy players…

Tell me about it, just had a nightmare lag situation when I faced a chun player. Last round she did her ultra thinking it would chip me to death and I saw that it just barely wouldn’t…had a lag spike just before the last kick of it. Since I wasn’t expecting the intarwebs to betray me I ate the worst part of her ultra when I was inputting mine.
Just wanna say GGs to Stabicron… Those 40+ game sessions with random were hella fun… I got to play characters I would normally never pick… I actually learned quite a bit with all the characters’ pros and cons. Hopefully I can use them to my advantage when I use my Cammy. Random select FTW :china:

I’d put Cammy at 120-135lbs honestly. Most of the girls I know that are in the 5"5 range aren’t anywhere near 101lbs. Do models get that skinny? Maybe Cammy should eat more than once a week…
If Sagat only weighs 171lbs, he should have less stamina and damage output.

This is coming from a Sagat player who spent most of the match throwing Tiger Shots and repeatedly whiffing Tiger Knees over a crouching Cammy. I sent a response: “IIRC, you’re the one who spent half of round 2 jumping backwards…” and then he blocked me, heh.
A nice reminder as to why I don’t usually play Championship Mode.
