Since characters seem to be getting more ‘defined’ in playstyle in 2012, I predict something to be added that reflects Cammy’s high risk, high damage style.

I just found an unblockable against Sim and Dictator, don’t know if its known yet:
backthrow, tiny step forward (similiar to the “hakan j.hp” unblockable) , whiff cr.mk, j.lk - works on both Sim and Dic.
Recorded it several times now, works perfectly once u get the timing down.

Yeah this buff is pretty useless because SBF is near unusable. Well I guess you can use it if you want someone to reaction ultra your face lol.

yeah… esp offline when you can really react spin knuckle is really punishable, easily stuffable with 10,000 normals. But tbh I wasn’t expecting Cammy to get anything. She’s still pretty good, and with the normal buffs and frame advantage she got, if she had tks she would be OP imo.

One thing though, i forgot, did they make her spiral arrow 2 hit in the first re-balance test? If not that’s what I would of done in this update.

Yeah it’s 2 hit again now. I suppose we just wanted something more : (, whenever you hear “balance changes” you think of all the things you want, and I don’t think anyone thought of a Spin Knuckle block string.

It’s 2 hit again. back to the way it was in Super. Spin knuckle is pretty bad…They should have made it faster…or gave it more priority. SOMETHING.

The hitbox on it is really good I think. The problem with it is though is that it takes forever to go across the screen and for the hitbox to become active. And it’s travel across the screen isn’t protected by anything because she doesn’t have super armor and she’s only a tiny bit invulnerable for the projectiles. I really wish they would do something with this move like decrease the startup because it is safe on block and it has pretty nice chip. Not to mention the new smaller pushback on it.

oh okay good. I asked ono on twitter for the two hit spiral arrow, I’m glad Cammy got that. The updates now are a bit disappointing, but look at Rose. She REALLY needed some help- and she pretty much got nothing. Cammy is still pretty solid.

Someone already asked Uryo, he thinks Sakura sucks because she has too many bad match-ups. He also said Viper is too good and he didn’t think she has any bad match-up.

So, basically, if you predict a fireball, spin knuckle in response, but your timing is just a bit off and the opponent blocks, you’re in a better position than you were in AE.

Doesn’t mean much but whatever. Like I said, so long as there are not significant nerfs and we get heavy SA back, then we should be okay. If a worthless buff to spin knuckle is the biggest news then it sounds like good news to me.

It doesn’t work against all the fireballs, it’s useless against Guile for instance.
