I never thought I’d say this, but I really miss Vanilla
You know what I miss about vanilla? Not losing U1 til you got to the wall =(
I don’t miss the glitch with it, but I REALLY miss that. If Super had kept it, I doubt I would use Splendid claw except against Diddles really.

Well vanilla still exists and aparently for a few years.
It retails for around 10 $ brand new, runs 60 fps steady anything better than a coffee machine, if you have a decent computer you can even enjoy stereoscopic 3D and the rest of the eye candy it’s really well made in that game.
You can sample your gaming sessions in full HD at 60 FPS with fraps,
and program computer assisted combo orstrings to train or see what you could do if you could pull 1 frame links.
PS3 sticks work on USB (I heard francys does mod sticks if you have the 360)
Haha and I thought I was a shameless advertiser XD Jeez Ajunta.

I played vanilla a few weeks ago. I was so surprised to see people still playing it! I only miss Indestructible.

I play vanilla very often. I have friends who are fiends for it.
off topic , a well timed overhead may beat yangs ex dp on wakeup.
If it doesn’t have invul frames, sounds pretty damn good actually. I love being able to use it on people’s wakeups.
And I play vanilla sometimes, if only for indestructible. And of course when I go up to London because before last week, the arcades there only had vanilla. And every single time I would forget the walldive glitch until I get "yeeeeeeo-drops to floor"
XD

The vanilla community is very much alive yes,
Lots of people play still vanilla when the wife or the kids need the tv set to see grey’ anatomy, or because just like me they have invested in computers and can’t be bothered buying a console for the sole purpose of playing super instead of vanilla, which is a very polished game already granted super is a tidbit more finished.
There are more noobs on vanilla live everyday and i mean noobs people who never played before and can barely input a special, as well as very seasoned players who ve been playing for over 2 years.
I don’t know in the rest of the world but in europe there is plenty people on the live.
While I hate online play;

It does feel like I lose a lot of thought when I play online though >.< Frustrates me to no end.

well there isn’t much choice for me, there are only arcades in bars in middle sized towns in france and they change something like 2 euro per game… plus there is no local community.
It is okay for people in Paris I guess.
I have over 6000 matches online with my vega, that would have cost me something crazy to do that on arcades, let alone my wife wouldn’t like me to be in a bar for 5 hours 3 days a week.
The way I see it online play is diffrent gab is more efficient, mix up is godlike, unbuffered 1 frame punish are barely practical, lots of stuff cannot be countered in time, due to increased time of reaction. It is just the way it is i play it as is.
Playing both online and offline is another problem, not everyone can change his play-style on a whim and develop 2 separate play-styles so most of the time offline play hurts our online play and vice versa.
I personnally only play offline against family friends etc… and they are nowhere near my level so it doesn 't matter much in my case.
And fucking hell how did you do that ? ? ?

That is a really impressive charge buffering, plus I always forget that claw thrust on RCF causes a knockdown and not a reset on airborne targets that is very creative
Haha well, to be honest, I’ve been practicing it in training mode for a few days, just to get the spacing right (If you do it too close on a cornered opponent, you’ll hit with the roll and claw, putting them upright and unable to juggle in the EX.ST)
I’ve just been working on a myriad of flashy looking things lately along with putting some better things into my game (Like trying to remember j.HP, cl.HP xx H.RCF. Didn’t really trust jump ins on this guy because of the DP mashing X3

That combo was first introduced by a japanese player. I still remember clearly, that stuff was on nico together with some other ridiculous BS no one had seen before :F
EDIT: Yeah, there it is -
