In other news, guys, started another Template for my TE (Since I’m getting bored of the black background on my purple TE)
Think I might change the border colour to match his sash. Thoughts?
Really like how you did the purple dividers.
The backing is a little too bright for my taste, and it needs some more action around the buttons.
I would change the “Type V” stuff to a really dark purple instead of black.
Button area needs some blazblue-ish craziness and/or a much larger more transparent vega behind the buttons.
(Or in your case maybe “awkward bison staring face” lol )
You have a good thing going, keep running with it.
Edit : keep the border as is for now until you have the rest of it ironed out. Since if memory serves, it matches the painted bezel really well.

So make the backing a little darker maybe? I’m considering putting the Blazblue stuff around the buttons. What’s your take? Black or like, a dark purple for the Blazblue stuff?
With all the purple on the casing and such, I like the idea of using diff shades of purple for the BB “extras”.
And the more I think about it I wouldn’t match the dividers to his sash unless the background turns out more black than white.
Even if its the same stock, I would suggest a large Vega image in the background either overlayed or at 15-25% or so.
That, coupled with the tech you’re going to add around the buttons should give the template more overall “action” w/o being crazy crowded. Its good to give the viewer things to notice the longer they look at the image.
As awesome as the dividers are, see if you can do some gradient overlays on them to give them a sense of depth.
