Has it been confirmed that the EX high sky claw can not go through projectiles in SSF IV? And can a DF HK be cancled into a throw?

I’m pretty new and need a few pointers any way I can get’m. Oh also, what style of play would you reccomend for a Vega user? I’ve had people compliment my turtle style but I’ve spoken to some other users and they say Claw’s defensive liabilities do not make him the best to use for turtleing…

Everyone has their opinions but my recommendation to you would be not to turtle…but know when to turtle…theres a difference…in my experience sometimes u just need to be patient specially while your ahead…yu’de be amazed at the matches you lose just cause you were winning but were impatient…and your loss was due to just one mistake that ended up costing you the match…sometimes u just need to feel the match out…If you start turtling lets say for example like a Guile its not a good idea…with Vega its best to capitalze off of mistakes of your opponents…Vega doesnt have much to counter out of turtleing…your most likely to get cornered and killed…overwhelmed with jumpins…If your Vega…in the corner is one place you dont want to end up…hope this helps

Someoen earlier mentioned footsies and I looked up the term in Websters’ and I was stumped (NOT really) then I checked the SF dictionary and it makes perfect sense to what you say here. I’m gonna try to fight matchs without jumping and dashing to see if that helps me find the range on my opponents so I know their’s and my limitations. And yes…the corner is no place for a beautiful Vega haha. Thanks guys
