Ottawa Thread 2015

Only problem is that it is lost like a needle in a pile of hay… reason for asking.

Yeah, it comes across more as some myth or urban legend than anything, lol.

This Tuesday 'Tis Time To Take The Tekken Tag Tournament Two Tournament?

I said that because I saw a poster that said on September 22nd there will be a tournament at the usual place at Algonquin. Is this true? Maybe I was looking at a poster that was a year old and it was last year?

Yeah, I think you’re looking at an old poster

So… The Algonquin Video Game Club is having an event on October 17th. We will have the 2nd floor of the Student Commons (E Building) booked…

Sweet, always good having stuff like that go on.

There is a limit to our resources; we ask the community to please bring setups so that the tournament will run smoothly. Volunteers are exempt from the venue fee! Please bring consoles with games patched to their latest versions or a lagless monitor/CRT. Also, let us know at the sign-up desk!

If I bring my XB360 with USF4 will I need to pay fees? I also have a BenQ monitor that is pretty good when it comes to lag but not perfect but I don’t feel like taking it on the bus with me, if that is even possible. Will need a ride from my lowertown apartment if I do bring both the XB360 and the monitor AND of course my stick(s) that I will need.

I have a new phone number: (613) 292-0427. If you can give me a ride on Saturday you can score another monitor for the tournament! I also have a PS4 with USF4 on it.

My e-mail as well is karateskills@yahoo.ca

Who is going to Canada Cup?

I know I’m going to Canada Cup, I just need to find a way there and back.

You won’t have to pay the venue fee ($5) if you bring your xbox with ultra. However, you still have to pay $5 for the pot.
I suggest bringing only the console.

Who already has sfv preordered?

i have sfv pre ordered, why?

best buy had a promotion, was gonna preorder it so club can get access to beta and see if anyone else wanted to preorder it, but i think psn is blocked at gonq

Who will be able to bring a setup this Saturday for sure.

If you do plan on bringing one, can you message will, please. Let him know what your bringing. Thanks

I can bring my PS3 with Xrd (no Leo though) for that and for TTT2. Or other stuff if people want it.

Who is interested in playing sf at gonq tonight?

We have a room tonight for anyone who wants to practice for Canada cup

Between the PDP Mortal Kombat Fighting Pad and the HORI Fighting Commander, which one is better? And, does anyone know if they are legit PS4 controllers?
