Hey, I plan to come to these weeklies soon now that I’m finally getting a stick and some free time. So, to clarify, is the main console 360 or PS3? Or is it different for each game? I play GG, USF4, and KoF13 (and Melee, but I know what that’s on lol) if that helps.
For GG, we usually have both consoles running it because we’re a mix of PS3 and 360 sticks, but the PS3’s sometimes turn into other airdashers.
For SF4, you should only expect to find it on Xbox.
For KOF13, whatever we can manage. We usually don’t have a setup unless I bring my Xbox or Taidai brings his PS3. Legend has it every disc-copy of KOF in the city was destroyed by the family of familyman.
So I guess 360 is generally the way to go for me, then. Also I’m guessing there aren’t many KoF players? Do you guys who do ever meet up at someone’s house and play sometimes? Thanks for the answer.
All the KOF players in town play it as a side game, so no one’s really stepped up to host. I love the game, entered it at Evo, will enter at NEC next month, and would come out to KOF-focused meetups with a setup if anyone else was serious. As it stands though, I think the only scene for it left in the country is Toronto.
Alright, that’s good to know. I’ve really fallen in love with it and have been getting serious about it, too, even though I’m still a beginner; plus I’m getting going to adjust to a stick so a lot of execution stuff is gonna be back to 0. Anyway, thanks for the replies. Looking forward to meeting you soon (hopefully).
Now that I’m sponsored by JOB I’ll go download team $15 (and get the skullgirls dlc i missed) and bring my console with me. So we’ll have some ps3 KOF this week.* I’m not gonna be assed to bring my monitor now that we have a shit ton more unless it’s really an issue.
*pertaining will/bruce get the other room. I’m not gonna bother coming if we have to share a room with the smashers unless they learn how to not take up space.
