Hey guys the two other good Tekken players, AAK and Mohammed, who live here are Muslim and are fasting for the holy month of Ramadam. Hope I spelled that right. So, without other players, I will not be coming for the month, probably. Especially since I only have one Madcatz Fightstick to my name. Only one stick means I have to be extra careful with it. Think I should buy another one this weekend though since Evolution has sales usually.
Thanks for the feedback btw in regards to sticks. I would like to buy a fightpad too, yes. Post information if you see and fightpads anywhere please. I can use a pad for Tekken, but not those crappy XB360 pads. Thats why I play on stick in the first place…I can not use those crap XB360 pads.

Hi everyone. Tomorrow (Friday) is the beginning of Evo 2014. I have all of tomorrow (Friday), Saturday after 4pm, and am working on getting Sunday off of work. I am hosting an Evo party type thing at my house over the weekend. There are going to be three (Ultra) setups (Thank you Bruce) and a stream or two of Evo running. I’m also going to arrange the living room into a better arrangement for the weekend.
My house doesn’t have gonq police so drinking is allowed. I will be picking up a case of beer in the morning. The Beer Store is close by if you decide you want to pick something up. We also have a barbeque and a grocery store nearby if you want to cook anything and tons of fast food places if you don’t. Smoking is fine in the backyard, just be a bit discreet as our neighbours are families with children. Also, don’t drink and drive.
From what I understand (ultra) pools will be running from around 11am (our time) to past midnight (our time). I don’t think many of us plan on going anywhere and some of us won’t be getting up at 11 in the morning. I’ll probably have everything set up for noon if you want to come over early. My best guess is that most people will be getting here around 2 and 4 in the afternoon.
As usual bring your own sticks as I only have two. If you want to play a game other than Ultra, bring a setup for it. There may be a (cute) dog visiting for part of the day.

I live by Merivale and Meadowlands. It’s not too far from Gonq. A lot of you have been here before. If anyone has better plans I’m always open to suggestions. I asked for this weekend use of the house so we have full access to everything and won’t have any problems with roommates. Some of them are going to watch Evo with us for a while. Depending on what’s on sale nearby I might pick up some pop and chips for everyone to much on.
Parking in the driveway should be okay, there is parking available on the road as well. (I doubt it will fill up but there is also a church close by that you can park at if it’s needed).
Also, if someone could bring a 360 with Ultra on it, that would be great to complete the third station.
If this goes well I might do this for other major tournaments.
