Anyone still playing that game? I’m thinkin of doing a gather at my house sometime by summer and I’m not sure if it’s just gonna be OG players or new guys, but let me know if you want in.
Not gonna lie, I’ve been watching a lot of old 3rd Strike from EVO 2005-2009, and it kind of makes me sad I never picked up the game when it was popular, in the same way I wish I’d played CvS2 back in the day. I just haven’t really gotten it on account of “it’s way too late in the game’s life for me to probably learn anything useful”, but if people were gonna do some stuff with it then hey, why not.
The real question is, can you afford gas?
If I can’t afford gas by summer, then there’s way bigger issues than whether I’d be able to figure out 3rd Strike, or not, I can tell you that.
And on a side note, I got to messing around in UMVC3 training mode again and have no idea who to try and learn even though I went through a bunch of characters.

Still have to work out where me and the other Tekken players will stay. There are about 4 or 5 of us I think. Are there hotels/motels near the Toryuken venue?
I do have some relatives who live on the outskirts of Toronto in a town called Aurora, but it’s pretty far from downtown TO, like maybe an hour and a half by car on a good day without traffic problems.
