SFIV Ranked Battles may be starting on campus this week.

Want me to bring the dreamcast tonight? I got a bunch of controllers and a copy of power stone 2. Just, if someone Can bring a blank CD-R or two So we Can make a new copy if needed? Will someone There have a laptop with a cd Burner?

As Krackatoa mentioned, I will be starting to run Ranbats tonight for AE 2012. If there is interest I can also run Marvel Ranbats. They shall forever be named “Capital Rushdown” (unless we have a better name).
I used to run Ranbats in Newfoundland and started up stat tracking before I left. You can see the example here: http://diluvian.ca/ranbats/
It’s still a work in progress but I am working on http://diluvian.ca/capitalrushdown/ which will host our new stats.

I’ll probably start the ranbats at 7 but it could be later if people let me know they will be late. Depends on if we are just doing AE or if we want to do Marvel as well.

Or it could be done alongside the current format. I think it’s great for getting better (and fun!)

That is a great idea. Lets switch to that format so we don’t hog the one setup all night. A full bracket takes way too long. Plus it gives you time to study the match up beforehand.

there’s no reason you guys couldn’t bring a station and set up somewhere in algonquin btw, we did it plenty of times before. as long as someone there is a gonq student you shouldn’t have a problem.

I just moved to Ottawa a couple days ago. I’d really like to come out sometime soon and meet you all.
I think I’ve got it that the Algonquin meets are every Thursday. Are the FEG meet ups scheduled or are they held when there’s enough people interested.
Also are a lot of people going to the GO tournament next weekend?

Ya, our main night is Thursday nights now at the gonq. I think iRTV is trying to get Feg on Monday nights but a bit later at night.
A bunch of us are going to the GO tournament but apparently ticket sales are low and it might not happen. At least that is what is being implied.
