My name is Paul and I just moved to Ottawa, and I saw on this forum (on a different thread) that you host fighting tournaments- and I was just wondering if there was any chance of there being another one coming up soon. I am an avid SSB melee player who would love to test his skills against others if there was going to be another tourny sometime.

Hey Paul, you won’t find Ottawa Smash players on these threads, but I dabble in melee so if you’re still around next month and you end up making it out to a gethering I’ll definitely get some sets in with you. But you said you’re “avid” so I’ll probably get destroyed.
I hope to get some with Sarge too, all in August. I’ll bring out my SNES and old fighting games, and lots of $5 and $10 bills lol
Cool, cool. Thanks for your help- I’ll check back once in a while to see what’s going on- I just did a quick google search and I saw people playing melee here. I am unfortunately not very good at SF type fighters- but I could always practice up

Thinking of doing a tournament at HQ either on August 9th or the 16th. Pure pot (dohohohoho), no entry. Send HQ off properly. What works best for people?
Also, that’s when people can pick their monitors and stuff. I’m also selling two 360s. Older, no HDMI version is $80. I’ll give you the component cables and the VGA/audio cables necessary so you can hook it up to a VGA/EVO monitor. Fat 360 with HDMI is $100.
