Game nights are Tuesdays starting around 5/6pm at Algonquin College (look to Krackatoa for more info), Wednesdays around 7 at Ralph’s Sports Bar down on Bank St., Thursdays and Fridays starting from 7/8pm at Ottawa HQ (pm FreezerB for more info/directions).

Just check the thread occasionally for updates.

Tuesday meet today. 5pm, Student Commons at Algonquin College. Room e206b. We have more than enough displays. Bring out your consoles and you’ll have a place to play. There’s still a Starbucks, and I still lose all the money matches.

Thanks for the info. Here in St. John’s we only play once a week on Sundays so this sounds great. I am going to try to make it out as much as possible. I might be moving back to Ottawa this summer so you might see a lot more of me.

Edit: Also is there a facebook group or anything for the Ottawa scene I can join?

The regulars are generally a bunch of scrubs. Haha. The majority of participants are people I drag along from GameDev.

There’s exceptions, of course. We have a couple of a players in second year Game Dev (One EVO competitor), but they’re in semester-end projects right now. We also have Anthony who comes in routinely to bop people in Marvel. The best players are generally the ones who drop in from the existing community from time to time to see what’s what, like Dev, Adam and Myles.

I don’t think everyone in the college knows about what we do, though. I need to advertise more.

I have everything but BlazBlue on me, and will play everything (I’m pretty free at everything since I haven’t been playing much lately). Generally, I end up scooping everything that comes out.

Don’t worry bout being free and stuff. Other than Blazblue and quasi-AE on a GOOD day, I’m a bit free on stuff myself. That being said, when Chronophantasma comes out, I’m gonna be trying to get everybody and their brother into the game and finally try to get a community for it going. Especially if I actually have money to go into the city more often.

I went to Algonquin back in 2002 and graduated in 2004. It’s been so long since I have been there.

I mostly play AE2012 so I would be hopefully showing up to play that. I will try and drag my friend along too.

I can sympathies with you but my last exam is tomorrow and then I fly back to Ottawa on Friday. I am going to try to make it to the HQ on Friday night but my family might not like that much.

Pretty excited about some new local competition. Living on an island really limits your ability to play new players. We have pretty much found everyone in St. John’s who plays the game at a decent level. Also the online here is pretty rough at the best of times.

How late does the HQ go on Friday? My plane lands at 6:30 and I will probably say hi to the family, have a quick bite to eat and then head over later.
