No stream tonight, seems Masa’s capture card just isn’t compatible with our hardware. I’ve asked ImLS to bring out his Hauppage HD PVR so we can test it however it’s currently looking like we may just have to blindly buy a capture card and ride it out.

Gaming Ottawa has confirmed that we should have additional copies of games for tomorrow.

The joy of component cables is that they’re the same as normal AV cables. I’ve got a tub full of them. But wait a tick… no HDMI support for it at all? That would mean we’d have to run it on the CRT station or go through all sorts of converters. Something like thisis really the only thing that will work for us in a clean/easy setup. Bring it anyway if you can though and we’ll check it out.

In related news - if anyone accidentally took the PS2->360 converter PLEASE RETURN IT. This is the second thing that has gone missing from HQ and I don’t want to have to keep shit under lock and key because of bullshit like this.

Haha yeah, the issue is that the monitors we use (Asus VH232/236) don’t have component input so it would need to hook up to one of the CRT TVs.

I overheard some bitching last night about the sponsorship money. If you have a problem with it please speak to me or post it here. Also, if it makes you feel any better, the money is coming from the revenue from drinks.

Edit: Holy shit people can’t do math. I don’t think ANY tournament, even Evo, is $50 for venue+entry. The sponsorship is like $20-30 depending on venue fee for the tourney. (lol CC is $50 venue, fail).

UMVC 3 chagelog for some of the marvel character(its being updated constantly). Overall Im liking what Im seeing, sentinel getting armor on all his air normals sounds like it will really help his stomp game, and lol you thought his frying pan was terrifying before? Shame storm didn’t get a whole lot, but I guess she’s getting better by default since a lot of people who were above her are getting nerfed.

Can’t wait to see the capcom side, see if my girl ammy got anything other than an air dash nerf and air stance changes.
