What is the official tournament speed? I played this game once on ps2 and we played it on Turbo 3 I think (whatever the highest setting is) and people have been telling me it was too fast?

Prestige: he could have been trying tons of different things its just that when he gets up the electricity is hitting meaty so he does not have alot of input frames to execute his move
so regardless of what he is trying he has 1 frame to do it in. Thats why he got hit both times.
in both japan and america there are 4 speeds. Tournament standard is the 3rd speed. In america, where the speeds are labelled turbo 0, turbo 1, turbo 2 turbo 3; turbo 2 is considered default. The big issue is that in Japan, the speeds are labelled turbo 1, turbo 2, turbo 3, turbo 4 and turbo 3 is considered default.
Basically it’s the 2nd highest speed i.e.
the pink star.

<1 frame lag discrepancy, designed by seth killians. it’s like netplay on kaillera on private server with you and your opponent on 0 ping. new netcode algorithms, apparently this shit is hot. I’m gonna need to get a usb adaptor and stick to try this out.

jk. That’s really good news. That about as close as you can get to arcade…can’t wait to use it. If it can consistently get to half a frame lag it’s pretty much perfect for us humans
Well its only a matter of time before something that actually works for the kaillera players to come around.
I mean kaillera is full of complaints, at the drop of a hat people will leave kaillera for anything that host all the games it has but much better.
The major problems that kaillera does have and the people who are at its head wont fix will be one of many reasons that it falls to GGPO.
If you think about it, the only think kaillera has is its open chat and easy way to connect with players. I hope on the GGPO site they allow a forum for players to find each other on, so they can organize tournaments and casual matches, ranbats etc etc.
Doing that would not only make it better than kaillera in the “game play” department, but it’d allow for more people who are trying to find out about “ggpo” to get involved.
I can only see good things for online fighters with something like this coming along.
One major factor that i see could possibly fuck things up is the mvc2 rom when it comes out.
I really hope they input some sort of cheat or some shit that automatically gives you all the characters. Because it’d be a bitch have to play with only the starting characters… There’d be only a handful of teams and the fun would die real quick =s
