I really loved this tournament. Went 1-2 (got a bye in the first round though I think), won against a Sagat with my Rog and had a really close match against Prince. The most fun was in the projector room or whatever, had less lag than some of the monitors.
The only monitor that had lag was Jebailey’s, and it wasn’t used for tournament.
The only reason I ever lose is because of lag.
The only reason I lost yesterday was fucking Zangief. A curse on the house of Miller and his refusal to jump in at crouching fierce range.
Actually, no, I did pretty well yesterday. Beat Brian Black in a matchup I knew like astrophysics (namely, not at all), got sent to losers by Manny Tejada (playing Gief) in a long grueling footsie war, killed two Ryus and then ran into Leland.
What I’m most proud of yesterday, however, was JD, JD -> Red Impact in CvS2 back in the corner. Sorry, Alex. That was just too awesome.
Good games to Tony, Dro, Jose and anyone else I played in the 3D dome. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot as well. You were all very nice and thank you for the kind words. I’ll be sure to hit you guys up on xbl/psn.

But honestly, I had a lot of fun, enjoyed pretty much every game I played, though I’ll admit I didn’t know what the fuck to do with Claw. Poke poke kara throw for days, and I just couldn’t find the timing to slow it down at all.
Going to have to get some more games in with all the guys I played, GGs all around.
It just happened that I play against one of the top FLA Sakura’s on a regular so I knew the match up pretty well keep yo head up dude

Rocky’s Internet connection may not be so good for that and well after CEO 3d and only a 10 man showing for the tourney I may put BBCS on the Needs at least 8 Pre reg list for an official tourney. I’ll at least Stream the top 4 for finals on the main stream.
well in all fairness, I don’t believe you posted this tourney on dustloop like the last one. Senkei posted it but 2 days prior to the tourney. But also, there was a south florida tourney for bbcs on the same day. I’m sure there will be a better showing at winterfest.
Also fuck whoever was the the photographer at ceo 3dp. I commented, placed decently high, held tables at a sports bar for people who were slackers so we could all watch teh fight and i don’t get any pics…i feel loved…

Yeah at the last tournament i went to, surprisingly a lot of the BB players really wanted me to record there matches for them(I was only going to record my own stuff at first so i could analyze it when i got back home). Well recently I purchased a video capture device(720p 60fps) so I could calculate my own frame data, analyze my own execution errors, and create a setup where i could record offline matches more easily(using a camera sucks). At the next tournament I plan on having this setup there for the BB players that want to utilize it, but hey shit if im going to do all this why not stream it and create a little bit of hype for the BB scene. Maybe i can do a team spooky type deal for the BB players. I don’t know its just an idea. Wanted to get your approval before I tried anything. If it’s not possible at rockies then yeah ill just record then you tube for the players that want there shit on youtube.
As far as the small showing is concerned another tournament was happening at the same time for the game in SFL. So you had some competition that day. Also what happened with the post for the event on dustloop? Are you able to post on dustloop now? Senkei made a post for the tournament but it was 3 days before the event! I’m not sure who is responsible for doing these, not saying its your fault either but that is probably another reason why the turn out was small for BB.
