Sorry I forgot about Harold and Jebailey tying for 5th. I just remember the picture they took was of the five I listed.
That would be me. I wanted a first to 5, but we settled on a 3/5. He’s a friendly guy.
Not off Arturo, but I made some back. I also got to sit down with PJ. I’m really sad panda that I missed seeing you and James though.
Why I had to leave early is a funny story in and of itself, but sorry I missed you brah.

I like that the combo in angry man’s signature doesn’t work.
KOF 2k2 UM coming for PSN/Xbox Live at the very start of November (1st or 2nd, I forget which day)! Now with passable netcode (supposed to be the same as Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum)!
…Anyone besides me and John Martin want to play it?
Does it have that boxer guy in the background?

I heard someone was tearing it up in Marvel. Was it Mixup?
You know im always game. Bring it over.
We have Ranbats every other week on Fridays. This Friday we will have one. Then the Friday after next Friday.
Unfortunately, Franco will not be participating in the actual FIGHTING per se in 2k2UM, he will be merely continuing his silly dance in the background of Neo-Geo Land, accompanied by the spinning ninja with small children hanging joyfully off his arms.
If you’re still in dire need of a boxer, there’s always Vanessa. You get silly swooshing noises, tiny neckties, AND a frenzied pressure game that’s basically like a three-way split between Ibuki (command dash speed and resets), Makoto (feint cancel shenanigans with her sway stance) and Dudley (fun juggles and lots of punching).
If what you’re really after is a comically large man doing extremely silly things, I would recommend Chang. He has one massive ball and he dances like Marilyn Monroe. Also, he can stop time. I swear to God I’m not bullshitting you.
I’ll probably pick it up, nothing wrong with screwing around with another fighter.
Chris: Good to hear it. The game really is one of the more solid KOFs, and while the execution and game flow is a lot different from SF, there’s a lot of different characters in the game to appeal to pretty much any taste. If you have a modded PS2 you can download the PS2 version and see what you think.
I’m weighing candidates for my team right now. So far I’m looking at something like Mai/Shermie/Benimaru or Mai/Benimaru/Kula, although I might try Heidern and Chang as well.

You better believe I’m bringing this game to Nestor’s.
Me and a couple friends play (read as: mash/spam random shit) in 98:UM for PS2, but I never really bothered to learn the game proper.
It’s the little differences from SF that for me are pretty rough to grasp, its really the same reason I haven’t really jumped into BB yet, I don’t get “the point” of the game compared to the series I’ve been playing casually at the very least for nearly a deccade.
I will never forget Benimaru going under Ralf’s Galactica Phantom
you guys should start doing ranbats on my off fridays, which are every other friday (opposite of ranbats)
just throwin that out there :-D…
or hey! (this just came to me as i’m typing)… what would you guys think about including some ranbats matches online? Maybe just have one online setup wherever ranbats is hosted and use it to include a couple of guys like me in the round robins.
I know thatd be a little work but I dont see why it would be a bad idea. Worth a try? I just gotta get in on some of this ranbats action.
Man that shit was like Pearl Harbor. We got to get back to that game, this weekend for sure.
