Well i just went and registered for EVO and i figured I have enough room on my credit card to get a room so i checked it out and EVO is currenly sold out of rooms. We might have to consider getting an off-site hotel room if EVO can not get another block of rooms so if anybody can find or knows of a decent hotel near Caesers Palace that’s not very expensive let me know and i’ll check it out.

Incase anybody is wondering i plan to have 4 people in my room to cut down on cost. I have already talked to a few people who were interested but didnt fully commit. I would prefer to get on the same flight as my roommates so we need to start making plans soon before it is to late.

You already know I’m in with you. Also I’m flying southwest

^I wont stay at another hotel besides caesars palace. They still have rooms there for those dates just not any more of the ones reserved for EVO. We just need to go through travelocity, expedia, etc. It will prolly be a little bit more than the EVO price but it’s prolly the same price as staying at a different hotel. You know I’m going for sure so just let me know how much $$$ you need.

I’ll look into those sites for pricing. i will probably wait until next week so i can clear a little more room off of my credit card. I will keep you guys updated when i decide to make plans final.

Keep in mind, as someone who has been to Vegas a bit. The Imperial is right across the street from Ceasar’s. Not even next to it, it’s like right across from the place and it’s ridiculously cheaper. It’s not a bad hotel either.

Yeah, but trust me on this, if you are able to, stay at the hotel the event is at. Why? Because walking back to your room at 3am isn’t fun. And if you are walking back before 3am, you’re doing something wrong lol. Especially in the hot ass weather of Vegas

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that there is now a sticky where you can put your gamertags. I just played a bunch of games with people last night on team battle and endless battle and it would be cool to get you guys involved too. Going to try and get Idaho in on this too.

I’m curious how smooth the matches will be between WA and OR. The guys I played last night were all from WA and it actually was pretty close to playing offline. Maybe a tiny bit of lag, but nothing major.

Just a heads up to Portlanders or other, we are having a few rooms come available at the Sole Purpose crib. If anyone is looking for a new spot to live, it would be ideal to have friends/gamers fill the rooms. The rooms are pretty large and nice, if anyone has seen our house they are on the third floor. One large room is $450.00, the other double room is $550.00, also great for couples. The house location is pretty centralized, inner SE area. Anyway, more gamers in the house could potentially get us one step closer to that dojo situation. Just putting it out there, holla if interested.

Yeah, I think I played Virsaga earlier today and things were really smooth. Really the # of hops between people in Seattle and # of hops to Portland probably isn’t all that different.
