Just got it back… thus… I was playing yesterday. Got school all day today, but I’ma shoot to get some time in tonight. Got a midterm tomorrow, though… so I gotta be studying up a little for that, I guess.

Alright, been meaning to check in this thread for too long. Name is Elvis, I’m in Salem at the moment. Just moved down here from Utah, which strangely has a pretty solid fighting scene at the moment. Heavily into SF4 though, and refuses to branch out a bit but a solid crew.
Been feeling kind of sad I haven’t really found other people in the scene. Doesn’t help Salem doesn’t really have any arcades. Maybe I’m not looking hard enough, but hey, baby steps. I’m currently working here with the National Guard. Looking forward to getting to know some people out here.

There are a couple people in Salem. The ones that post on SRK that I know of are Slash5150, Ronnicle, and HolyRobot. They had a get together once and some of Portland came down, but normally most people commute up to portland for our events.
Just looking for some live people to beat down. Online really isn’t too fun for me. Even when I win it’s not satisfying and when I lose I can’t kick someone in the shins afterward. It’s highly irritating.
Most importantly I don’t learn anything and I eat far less junk food and that just won’t do. I plan on doing the Evo thing this year as well, and would like to actually get to know some people from here before heading down there to blow what’s left of my bank account on video games.

Yeah not much going on in Salem. Its kinda hard to have a scene when there is only 4-5 people and no place to get together.
