If you sit down and think about it, Rage is T6 is similar to the rage meter or even the K-Groove in CvS2. (Or even Baroque in TvC, which is worse) You get meter for getting beat up and also do way more damage. Sure, you lose the meter, but the idea is the same. Obviously with Rage in T6, you’re pretty much one hit from dying anyway.
Blazblue is an awesome game. They don’t punish you instantly, so surely, they will let you set traps or play defense. Turtling in that game is a retarded idea anyway. You’re just letting your opponent put the pressure on you.
I’ll tell you what’s really dumb, having to TK cancel moves in F/UC.
The thing that bug me is that if all it takes is one hit to kill them or not in the world of fighting games is irrelevant. If they’re NOT dead to can still lose not matter how much health they have left. Bottom line.
My experience with t6 has been this one player makes 2 or three sometimes even four mistakes and is close to death. The opposing player makes ONE and now has around the same health.
I’d say barque works better because the game has a breaker.
I don’t like it so far.
Yeah, you’re REALLY not going to like TvC. :looney:
Nothing really wrong with that. It allows comebacks. Some of the greatest moments in fighters are the big combacks, and any feature which makes that more possible is usually a good thing.
If you get someone to a sliver of health and then make a mistake, you deserve your loss.
Rage meter is there to give the other guy a chance to come back.
It’s not rewarding the guy for losing, it’s pushing him slightly in a better direction in hopes of winning.
Also I’m better then Sakura in everything.

Um, so yeah, Kazuya does things that don’t make sense even without rage. And here’s the best part about it: EVERYONE CAN DO IT!!! And usually, when someone gets into their rage, they don’t usually end up coming back at all. The opponent will usually have to work more for that comeback against the other player. The other player can just turtle his ass off. And again, everyone can do it.
Bound combos are actually a good idea because there’s more chances of fucking up that entire combo compared to T5.0’s d/f2 1,1,1,1 W! nonsense. Hell, some chars didn’t even have good juggles in T5DR. And above all things, everyone can do it.
The game doesn’t need a revision, but good idea throwing that out there since you haven’t played the game yet. Ragna and Arakune are probably two of the best characters in the game(tier list wise) and they lose, too. Hell, not many people are even playing Arakune.
You got punished in GG for being defensive. Negative Penalty ring a bell? Hell, you take more damage after a burst. Your point?
You fell right into my trap~

Thats what I was trying to get at, She puts them down without understanding that its what made the game good.

Custom combo’s lol.
Also the negative penalty in GG/BB is kind of annoying.
Most character’s in GG/BB are designed with that in mind so it’s not really bad…but.

Random people throwing fried chicken at me in Samurai Shodown.
No, I know what makes the games good. I can dislike a feature and still like the game. As I stated earlier; while the feature is flawed, in the end it is part of what makes the game what it is.
I can say “hmmm…I would have done this differently” and still like the game overall and use the feature.

Tigerboi, Your view on T6 is WAY out of order lol. Bound benefits characters that otherwise sucked. Like dragunov and Aking, Though aking didnt suck, His combos werent long enough. And about rage, The life at which rage starts, Can be taken off by one move, And I can prove this. Rage has pros and cons, Sure you get extra damage, But you are so close to death it borders on luck to come out victorious.
-_- k so not enough hate was in this, Luckily im done eating. Have you even played tekken 6? It seems like you havent and are just basing shit off videos. Like the infamous junkazamafan. Rage dont mean shit, It doesnt guarantee a come back…Unless you’re miguel and they crouch when you do ff21(150 wins baby) Who do you play in T6 anyway? Are you a tier whore? I bet you play kazuya…

CVS2 didn’t get it right either. CC’s and A-Groove are fucking retarded in CVS2. Short meter, invincibility, they can shut down other grooves (Shoshosho on K-Groove or P-Groove) and there is so much dumb stuff with CC’s. It’s even worse because of the game mechanics/glitches present in that game really set it off balance. Roll cancelling just makes it worse, since some characters have retarded roll cancel hit confirms into CC. It’s an ridiculously dominating groove.

lol CvS2 didn’t get CCs right at all. If anything, it got worse. V-Ism actually required execution for those combos. CCs in CvS2 require execution, but it’s a lot easier than VCs.
Rage in Tekken is their way of adding Desperation Moves/Supers without going against Tekken’s design philosophy. Complaining against them is like complaining against any Super Move or Desperation move system in any game. If they added a Super meter and Super moves, or allowed new specials at low life…it wouldn’t feel like Tekken at all. It would also be pointless when there are already high risk high damage moves and comboes in the game’s basic design. Tekken rewards memorizing complex button patterns and learning precise timing, not d,f,d,f+p.

^No. Its aimed at people who want to make godly comebacks. You’re view on tekken is also wrong. Its not a form of tekken keeping up with the whole super/desperation move shit, Its their way of catering to the fans if you will. Combos got more flashy, Stages, and the rage system leaving trails of red/black/white shadows. And in br you get electricity!

Its not that bad just roll back. No one will determine that another player will just stop in front of them. But w/e Sakurai fails for SSBB
But a solution for the negative in BB…stop beinga punani people yo take a few hits
Life bars are overrated anyways =] And the rage gauge is only troublesom if people your facing are mad clutch
The CD command in Rage of the Dragons. The CD command turned Rage of the Dragons into a tug-o-war to see who gets launched first. The second someone was hit by it, the result would be at least a 40% combo (potentially 55-70% if there were walls)
I admit my view of Tekken is off in many regards. Not a huge fan of 3D games. Tekken is fun but I don’t like it enough to do more than mess around with some scrubby friends. I love King though.
But you have to admit, Rage has alot in common with Desperation moves and/or Damage boosts from having low health/taking lotsa damage (K Groove/Samurai Showdown). It in essense is still Tekken’s answer to Supers, doing so in a way that appeals to Tekken fans.
