I won mine in Eugene (Bison EX Headstomp ftw!). Tons of Ken/Ryu and a few Sagats. They made us use shitty official XB360 wireless controllers. One of which had a faulty down input. Like 7 match disqualifications for pressing start/guide button too :lol:

Don’t know if I’ll make it to Salem next Saturday though :sad:

I hate the 360 pad. Hate it. By all means… it’s still my fault that I got taken out in the early game by not practicing enough… but it sucks sooooo much to whiff attacks because you wanna hit what you were once used to being heavy punch and instead get 3xK. Add in that this was my first competition ever (barring an online gig last week)… and my nerves were somehow shot (worse than giving a speech… one of my knees desperately wanted to give out from shaking)… and… yeah. I suck.

Good work, folks who progressed. I am pleased. Too bad I won’t see you all in Round Two.

Looks like I’ll need to look into Slugfest. :lol:

I’m going to the EB in Hillsboro, lets try not to bunch up too much.
Theres one near portland and one near hillsboro, and apparently you can go to whatever one as long as you have the card.

That would be me. How I play him on a stick versus a controller turned out to be pretty damn different. That was the one match I should’ve lost.

I had to go for a weird claw hold on the left side to get the 3P for Blanka’s. At least there’s going to be a fightpad for people that made it to round 3.
