No, excellent has ghosting issues in older emulinker servers, but it’s still better than playing on Good with 5 tons of delay.
LAN however, doesn’t work period on older emulinker servers. It devolves in to a skipping/laggy mass; to the point of being completely unplayable.

So far i’ve only seen Intercepter online. A new guy named mkl started playing, nothing great but he’s getting there. When can we get some ST games going on more often guys? I’m somewhat getting better at third strike and to me that’s horrible, since I’m only online for ST!!
I played you in GW. Your ping isn’t so good there. I asked you if you had the p2p and you didn’t respond, and then I said it was too laggy and you quit on me without saying a word. You aren’t going to have an easy time finding people to play if you are stand-offish like that.

The online ST scene looks kinda dead to me, sure seems that way; I don’t seem to be helping the problem either since online poker stole my soul =/

The game is ANCIENT by game standards, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t a great, fun game. This game started the entire fighting game scene, and it’s up to its fans and players to represent it. It’s still at EVO too.
Just because it’s old doesn’t mean it lacks lasting appeal. Look at the games of chess and poker…
