Evil Ryu looks good. He seems to have godlike back dash and focus attack.
Evil Ryu plays more like Akuma than Oni does.

@0:23, do you see how quick Oni’s sweep is? Maybe its the vid quality but hat shit looks ridiculously fast. Right after you can see Oni’s forward throw leaves them at full screen. Looks like Exploding Heart techniques are best left with a REAL Akuma
@0:43 you can see Ultra 2 with an Ultra Combo Finish. Looks amazing. Ultra 2 may be UNBLOCKABLE, unless the Dee Jay was being a good sport and let it hit for the sake for seeing it

Isn’t Akuma -2 on blocked FA1 dash, +4 on block FA2 ? I’m asking because that’s what I find reported on several websites, but somehow I am always the one ending CH’d lol.
Well I for 1 am interested in Oni Akuma so I will see what’s he’s about until then I really can’t comment but from what I seen Oni is hands down better than Evil Ryu…Oni Akuma moves seems very good and that air dash is nasty for Oni…I guess I will have to wait till I get some training time with Oni or see some real experts(Japanese players) get their hands on Oni and see whats he’s about…

The damn E. Ryu hits so hard and comboes into both his Ultras for Massive damage… I don’t know if it’s true that he can combo from his overhead, but they say he even has a decent kara throw. Boy. And he has Akuma’s d+MK divekick. His Okizeme seems way better than Ryu’s.
His cr.MK doesn’t combo from cr.LP, might be 6f startup, but he can land like 3 (what the hell?) cr.MP on Oni, according to Eventhubs.
Maybe Im thinking FA Lv1 then

I believe Oni is better of course Evil Ryu is stronger but I think he’s in par with regular Akuma not Oni…Oni is in another level and it looks like Oni has better health than regular Akuma. Oni does some massive damage from what I seen so far too and his KKZ ultra does heavy damage when connect full. will Tokido pick him up or will Momochi?

@1:01, looks like Oni got Gouken’s st.mk. This is a GREAT AA if it retained all of Gouken’s attributes. Ive been dabbling with Gouken and this stuffs a ridiculous amount of jump ins

Oni looks strong with a ex shoryu he almost took half of evil ryus health
You know, I’m starting to thin kthat Evil Ryu might have 800 health. Or chance is, his Forward throw does 140 to 150 damage. Just look at the Evil Ryu mirror match posted, the throw damage is just huge.
I like that. Akuma’s st.MK isn’t that great of a move. I use it at times to poke, but if that works as an AA, that’s cool.
I’m not sure of that, Evil Ryu absorbs a hit before the Tatsu. About 160 damage maybe (since there’s the 25 % damage reduction)?
Me likes that, I just hope he cannot combo afterwards.

Recovery on U1 seems damn fast, it might be useful for chip deaths. Wonder if the air version is that safe too, would be damn nice.
I’m not sure EX Fireball not knocking down is an upgrade if it’s possible to FADC regular fireballs. Also, no corner juggles…
Has anyone seen whether these guys can FADC their DPs into Shaku for decent damage, ala Vanilla Akuma?
