Iâm sorry but fuck Oden. All this wouldâve been avoided had he not ditched his responsibilities as the heir to the throne and went on an adventure overseas for years.
Nah- Odenâs Big Adventure ⢠was him getting those wild oats out at the only time in his life heâd ever have the chance. Canât fault him for not being able to see the future.
His big fuck-up was how he handled himself when he got back.
Still kind of worth it for the âboiled odenâ joke though.

Damn and here I was thinking Oda gave Whitebeard the best death sequence. I do agree, Oden trying to save lives wound up costing probably to the same amount. But it is a story so someone in a flashback has to hold the idiot ball at times.

Donât wanna take away from the awesomeness of his death. So on a completely DIFFERENT note - the kind of attacks that people are immune to when using armament have typically been things that would far exceed something like boiling oil.
Oden was too awesome to be dead now. Maybe he did Haki his way out of the oil? What was going on with his wife showing him the future and confirming that he wasnât going to die? And has the world been waiting 800 years for his wife?
Back to complaining⌠never thought a flashback would be the best part of an arc. Though I guess this arc still has a lot left to get through.

Soooo oda is interviewing the rurouni kenshin creator and I find that very curious.
On the surface it seems fine because I honestly donât know if Shonen jump is forcing it or oda honestly wants to interview a friend.
Also given Japanâs very lax laws and rules towards pedophilia I clearly come with my own personal bias.
How are you guys feeling about this idea?
