Without haki I can’t see Enel being anywhere near able to hang with the admirals, even though his DF is on their level.
There are probably even a lot of non-DF users at this point in the story who could one hit KO Enel before he even had a chance to figure out haki is a thing.
Edit- I mean the reinforcement haki, not the sense haki that Enel obviously has

Re: Enel: While his fruit allows him to move at blinding speeds, he still needs to react to stuff, and he turned out to still be very human there. Even with his Haki, he got hit by Luffy’s final attack, and 1) Luffy wasn’t all that fast back then and 2) Luffy was telegraphing that gong punch loudly, as he likes to do. Enel didn’t even need Haki to see that one coming.
Basically, Enel was relying on his fruit and Mantra too much. The guy got arrogant, and turned out to not actually be that good a fighter. Anyone with Soru/Gear 2nd-level speed and Armament could stand a good chance against him as he was then. Add in good predictive Haki, and Enel wouldn’t stand a chance.
His fruit IS still top tier. If he’s actually worked on his skills up on the moon, he’s got the potential to be one of the scariest mofos in the OP world.
We can’t know that for certain. We don’t know when the policy started and it was likely a set up by the current powers as a means of subjugation. Past the Void Century and further into the past we don’t know what went on. They could’ve been offshoots long before recorded history.
Yeah True. Enel while he has a top tier DF. His raw physical abilities and fighting skills are that of the average man at best. And has limited use of Haki. So I did overestimate him because of his fruit. But if he’s on the moon stepping his game up, like you said he’ll be a problem should he return.
Enel’s greatest weakness is his god-complex and massive arrogance. He could have avoided Gomu Gomu no Golden Rifle, but his ass wanted to meet it head-on to show Luffy how inferior he was to him.
Enel’s power is too good for him.
Just saw in the anime they’re up to Senor Pink’s backstory. Such a sad one…

[] Luffy met up with some of Traffy’s crew, including Bepo who is a bear mink that left as a child and doesn’t remember much of this place

I just saw a theory that the mink tribe may use a combination of static electricity in there fighting style due to there fur. Anyone else think we have an incoming chopper power up?
