He is a Celestial Dragon by birth so that gives him a certain amount of leeway. And let’s not forger he takes orders from someone high up on the food chain…Most likely the Gorosei
He’s a Celestrial Dragon which pretty much allows him to do what ever the fuck he wants; he can grab you what ever you need; and he works for the Gorosei. No one can really say anything to him without being tossed in jail or killed.
Can you imagine if the shichibukai/marines/admirals/pretty much everyone else finds out that Doflamingo is a celestial dragon?
He has to be the worst kind of bad guy. Powerful in all aspects. He also seems untouchable to an extent. Like if he really wanted to, he could cause a world war.
I gotta give Doflamingo credit, he’s been covering all the angles for 10 years straight like a true boss. I’m surprised he even has time to chillax considering how many strings he’s been pulling (pun intended). Unless a pissed off Kaidou is waiting in the background, I don’t think Doflamingo is going down this arc. If anything he’ll have to relinquish the kingdom and make a new base of operations with his family.
That’s what it feels like. I’m still impressed that this Toy DF user is capable of maintaining a hold for so long. I still think it’s the Champion Diamante… y’know, the one Luffy is going to send flying and inevitably release the power’s stranglehold on the kingdom.
Does anyone find it extremely odd that even an isolated tribe like the Tontattas weren’t able to record the Void Century either? I can understand more well-known kingdoms being complaint in “losing history”, but these guys are basically off the grid.

I think some of them either weren’t ‘programmed’ or retained some measure of will power despite not having the strength or ability of their normal bodies.

That’s pretty much a given. Beating someone with that kinda power unconscious has been proven to shut the power off earlier (see whatshisname who stalked the giant mermaid princess, and Crazy Art Lady from earlier this arc).
