HD Man, it was drawn badly. Hunter X Hunterās author is notorious for drawing chapters horribly and then fixing them in the trades.
Since we are talking about Luffy, I expect him to get to the next round without using his powers only to reveal it there or just before doing something stupid, similar to how he said his name on accident only for people to think he said the wrong thing. It will be hilarious no doubt, although Oda will probably follow it up with taking a week off.
EXACTLY! The whole point of him mentioning Skypeia was to show that he acknowledges Luffyās belief in dreams. I just hope the Wiper and the guys made it out ok.
Bellamy might actually be using his other appendages as springs (al a Gomu Gomu no), and his mad hopper probably has Gear Second level speed now judging by his buffness. If he acquired Haki thenā¦
I actually think Luffy will be smart about hiding his abilities (even though he will probably have to stop himself pre-āGomuā), especially when he has Armaments Haki and superhuman standard strength to use. But when a life or death scenario forces him, he will do itā¦ my guess? The semi-finalsā¦

Uhhā¦ Does Luffy really need to use his DF powers like ever besides to give a super hard punch to someones face? Heās made of rubber so I always thought he could take most attacks. At least punches or kicks.
I seriously doubt luffy can handle jesus at this stage in the manga.

Dude went to skyepia and stole that pillar despite there being some fairly strong people there, so heās no slouch. Iām not saying heās on Luffyās level, but hopefully he puts up a better fight if they should face each other again.

Hmmā¦the current discussion has me wondering if we might be getting a new straw hat member by the end of the arc. Would be pretty cool if it was Rebecca and she won the Mera Mera fruit (provided Luffy doesnāt win it) though her revealed personality doesnāt seem to mesh with the groupās typical clown shoes personality. Thereās also the possibility that the revealed Mera Mera fruit is a fake or an engineered fruit from Dr. Vegapunk.
I donāt think itās engineered - when Doflo was talking to his own men - that heād have no reason to lie to, he stated what it was, so I FULLY expect it to be the real fruit.

Seeing how Caesar Clown was only able to make Zoans I doubt this will be the case. (In addition to the other reason you mentioned)
Zoans have a biological basis too, which is probably why CC was able to manipulate a fruit. (Also explains the dragon)

Come on white shadow, given the current pace, unless Oda throws Dragon+Revolutionaries and 5 of the previously established Supernovas into this arc there aināt no way Oda can actually wrap this up in 300 chapters or less. My money is on 1200+ short of Oda ascending into heaven where God will commission him to make The New-New Testament aka The Bible: Manga edition.
Hey Iām not saying it doesnāt look unlikely, but I dare not question the word of Goda. Iād rather him go over and make the pacing believable than have a rushjob of Luffy becoming Pirate King with random plot raping level ups.
