God, Skypeiaâs story was soooooo good. Just reading the Norland and Karugara flashback is pulling at the strings. I hope the storytelling for the new world arcs go back to Alabasta and Skypeia style.
With the way Fishman island has been hyped for literally years now, I hope Oda has some big plans for it. Iâm sure even Basil Hawkins couldnât save that place from chaos singlehandedly.

Personally, Skypeia captivated me the whole time through, I understand why someone would think the pacing was longer, but seeing how Oda had a direction for each moment I didnât feel narutoâd where you can tell shitâs being made up for the sake of doing a chapter.
BTW, Rayleigh said most Haki users have a preference in the type of Haki they use. I think Luffyâs strongest one (barring his Haohshoku Haki) is the âColor of Observationâ. Since the beginning of the manga Luffy has always been able to see through quick movements and read movements well in general.
Pacing is fine. Odaâs totally just keeping us on our seats waiting for the crew to show how much ass they can kick now.
