Man baby five is a logia she can reform herself and is literally an element of destruction .I found it odd Doflamingo was serious when talking to vergo I’m guessing knowing your oldest crewmate is about to die and you can’t do nothing about it effects even the most deranged pirates.
As far as strength I think a sanji isn’t falling behind he is suffering from being in the worst match ups at the right time .

I’ve always felt Dofla was going to be the last boss before the eventual final battle with blackbeard but now I’m not so sure. If the strawhats arent out of there by the time he shows up its gonna be very interesting to see what happens. I wonder if Law will be like “I got this” and then his crew magically appears out of nowhere and they all take on Doflamingo.
considering Dolfamingo made some known people of WB crew look like children I doubt Law would take him on.
(Yeah, Doflamingo casually crippled Oars Jr. and casually fought with Crocodile and basically didn’t get damaged through out all of the “war”.
Law would easily get “bodied” by Doflamingo even at this point and even with his crew given that Law was having trouble with Vergo, who is [far?] under Doflamingo, and the fact that we haven’t really seen his crew do much that suggests they have great, [Devil Fruit-based] offensive power.)
Well…shit. This honestly was nothing I ever saw coming, partly because it was difficult to tell how sincere Doflamingo was being last chapter. I thought he might have been, but considering how duplicitous he usually is…
But man, he seems livid, which cannot be good for anyone. I thought that the bomb was bad, but I’m not even sure what the hell could save them from him save maybe him being forced to choose to bounce with Caesar vs. killing everyone. That or Law’s crew showing up and saving their asses via submarine considering we still have no idea what happened to them yet.
This is especially jarring after the “obvious” heart switch; I have to wonder if Monet is “really” dead despite Caesar’s efforts.
It’s possible, especially given she was ready to die as it was. Then again, she’s a Logia, Caesar is fucked up on top of being physically weak as it is and there’s…Pell’s whole survival from something frankly more deadly.
Yeah, I was thinking about that too. Those five fruits–of which Momonosuke might be among now that I think about it–are perhaps the “best” at flying given it’s what they’re supposed to do naturally, but a lot of other people can “fly” via different means, like basically every Logia save Blackbeard and maybe Caribou can “fly”. Robin’s is more of a gliding though, ala Gargoyles.
Nah, she’s still a Paramecia since we’ve seen at least two other Paramecia that can split apart and reform: Buggy’s and Very Good’s.
Granted, both of those are…kinda weak compared to Baby 5’s one of increasing power, but aside from a literal explosion being involved this time, this isn’t unprecedented.

DAMN! /ron simmons… The Man Himself is coming to clean shit up… Unless Luffy is packing the natural counter for Dofla’s power, he and everybody else is fucked. PERIOD. We all knew it would come down to a Luffy v. Doflamingo showdown, but I don’t think anyone expected it this early into the New World-- Everyone’s not walking away from this, short of Deus Ex of some sort.
Meanwhile, Baby 5 is quickly growing on me… The french maid thing just puts her over the top, lol. Franky holding it down like a true boss, though.

Oda isn’t messing around. Hopefully the Strawhats can serendipitously vamoose before he arrives, because Luffy & co. will definitely get Aokiji’d if they try to step up to this dude.
It’s also interesting that this the first time we’ve visibly seen Donquixote’s “strings”. Seems like they can anchor themselves on anything.
I liked watching Baby 5 reform Logia style as well as Law’s level-headedness. Higher Mindgames.
