Never say never when it comes to Sanji’s female-fueled determination. If one boob-grope can push him past Nami’s body limits, a curvy Marine officer femme might be enough to have him at least fight Vergo/Virgo to a standstill despite explosive damage.
Could go in a lot of directions. After all that buildup for Virgo, it’s not going to be a quick fight akin to the Fishman Island matchups.

From what Sanji said, I thought it actually WASN’T haki, and was actually metal.
I assumed that was a metaphor, like Sanji was saying “Damn son you hard body.”

I just went back and read the mangastream version. That panel was actually an X-ray view showing cracks in the bone of Sanji’s leg when he tried to block that kick. Their translation also made it sound more like Sanji was saying, “Oh so you can use Color of Armaments?”
upon reading the Mangastream translation and looking at the scan again…you are 100. thats what I get for skimming thru so fast at work heh :tup:

I’m pretty confident Sanji’s Haki levels are pretty low tier at this point. He needs some story room to develop that shit, we only JUST found out he’s learned Haki at all.
I wonder if the whole crew will learn Haki at some point. Usopp would be a whole lot better off with it.
Okay, so Vergo combines CP9 techniques (possibly including the turn-your-body-hard thing) with body-hardening Haki. Tough bugger.

Damn Sanji is already cracking some bones. Maybe if he wasn’t so busy running the fuck away from the tranny crew, Ivanko probably could have taught him some higher level Haki.

Ummm. Would it be because CC can control gas/vapor and smoke is a kind of gas/vapor?
I personally think Smoker would lose to CC in a straight up fight, since CC seems able to change the composition of his gas and Smoker is just smoke. Midair poison when he reforms could be a possibility.

I love it every time Luffy pummels Caesar, as he’s probably not used to feeling physical attacks at all. Monet doesn’t seem to be a Zoan but an experiment too, as she’s displayed what looks to be a Paramecia ability.
I think we’re underestimating Vergo’s strengths. Keep in mind Sanji plowed through a Kumabot with his kick in one shot. 2 years prior it took an entire crew to take out one of those things and normal attack can’t pierce through their special armor. Vergo looks like he’s using a combination of Jyabura’s Tekkai Kenpo + Armaments Haki, which is why Sanji recognized his resilience immediately. The fact that he can damage Vergo means that they’re at similar levels of strength.
I loved Caesar’s O-Sword, I admit his usage of his ability is at least clever.
