I want some friggin pirate battles already. Ever since they left east blue, its either marines, or an island bad guy. FUCK i wanna see some pirates bumping heads too, like Kids crew or Killer or drakes crew going against luffy. Luffy would beastt on these wannabes but its gonna be entertaining.
So this chapter seems to confirm Brownbeard is toast, good thing the kids were a sleep for that one. New World rules, even a named mook can get got.

I got pumped when Law proposed an alliance with Luffy. The big question is which Warlord is Law planning to take down? Hopefully, itâs not Shanks because Luffy will attempt to kick Lawâs ass right there on the spot.

The Yeti Cool Brothers got taken out sooner than expected, but they had a good run. Besides, like T20thoughts said, OP characters have a tendency to make great recoveries. Also, like many of Odaâs characters, I like them already. They won me over once they started bitching about the cold, despite being yetis.
Lastly, CCâs bloodthirsty tendencies are really staring to show even more.
Thoughts on the chapter:
On Alliance
[details=Spoiler]One thing that does come to mind is when Law was staring intently at Luffyâs strawhat. Does he know of Luffyâs relationship with Shanks? If he does, then I would be surprised if Law asked Luffy to help take Shanks out.
In all honestly, I was thinking that Shanks and Blackbeard are going to have a confrontation with each other, before Luffy does.
My guess is that Law is planning to take down either Big Mum or Kaidou, as I donât think Luffy and Blackbeard will face each other until later on in the series. Luffy has mentioned a few times in this arc that he owes Law, so while Luffy often likes to rely on himself, I also think itâs possible he may agree to Lawâs alliance to return the favor of saving his life.[/details]
I donât think most of the OP world knows about Shanks and Luffyâs connection. It wouldnât be public knowledge, and just from the events during the War you wouldnât be able to discern much of anything between them. Law more than likely does not know about them.
Kaidou might murk them .Something tells me he isnât a guy you just declare war on .Big Mum is busy with Kidd so she is distracted and could be taken out if they all work together.Shanks is reserved strictly for Luffy and his crew .Blackbeard is end game .Kaidou and Big Mum are the only folks I can see them battling solely because tether supernovas are battling them at the moment.I think if any supernovas worked together crew and all theyâ coud battle a Yonkou.But they wouldnât serve YONKOUS ARE yonkous for a reason .

Iâm gonna return the kids, and then Iâm gonna beat on the clown dude, and then Iâm off.â If he teams up with Trafalgar, itâll be for different reasons - like, say, Trafalgar promising that heâll put the personalities back where they belong, or something. And even then, thatâll just be because Franky!Nami bludgeons him into it.
Iâve been waiting to see Kaidou in action for a very long time. Especially since I believe Oda drew him in earlier picture spreads without people realizing.
Personality~wise Kaidou is probably the most fearsome of the Yonkou, due to his implied belligerence.
So apparently China is building a One Piece theme park!
I will definitely risk the mercury poisoning, shoddy workmanship, and contracting Neo Bird Flu X for such a venture!
