A fishman is the only real asset I can see for the crew in the New World.
My thing is I understand āwhyā - its to show the improvement. My āissue/iriititation/whatevernessā about it is tied to it being so long. It could have been paced faster if that was the point. This arc had the length of an IMPORTANT arc, but Iām not walking away feeling as though it WAS important.

Thereās already been a solid decade of One Piece and weāre just entering the new world, Oda says the series has roughly 1000 chapters planned, so that another 10 years. If you had a kid now you could literally have him or her grow up with One Piece! :woot:

Blue Walk reminded me of CP9ās Geppo. I wonder if Sanji learned a technique similar to Rankyaku as well.
Now that you mention it I think I need to have a kid so they can get started on One Piece asap. Gonna work on that tonight.
Blue Walk is Geppou, just underwater, and Sanji knows how to do Geppou as wellā¦
Rankyaku Sanji sounds pretty OP though, although it would be helpful if he learned it near the end.

I unno in terms of battle styles ā¦ jimbei fishman karate something different from rest of crew ā¦ so for the sake of variety in fights in future arcs makes sense if he joins ā¦
assuming jimbei joins, that leaves one spot ā¦ and the SH have yet to have a logia type crew member ā¦ hmm ā¦ the mud guy ? ( lol j/k trolling) but logia user as a final member seems to make sense to me ā¦ again we can all speculate as much as we want ā¦ no matter what oda does ā¦ iām just enjoying the journey ā¦
What I meant was that heās already experience the Grand Line with the White Beards. For all the other SHs this is a brand new experience, including Brook. Doesnāt really make sense to bring a seasoned vet in with a bunch of rookies.

Seems I was half-right. I couldnāt imagine the crew chemistry of having Jimbei in the crew, but I guess Oda has other plans in mind. Such an incredible asset, I donāt even know what power ranking he would have in the crew, so ambiguously strong.

I knew this would happen to Luffy too, but the real question is why does Luffy have such a profound connection to Roger, it almost seems like Rogerās will is manifested in him, like a reincarnation of sorts. Something Iāve noticed ever since the Don Krieg Arc.

Itāll be nice and all that Jinbei will joinā¦But I think he will refuseā¦I dont see as that type of person to just leave Fishman Island in times of needing a protector. Also he has his old crew somewhere and he already traveled vast oceans with Fishman Tiger. I just cant picture him saying " hmmā¦I guess I wanna go out again and join some other crew"
Also no one is talking bout this but, Luffy is literally like fishman blood nowā¦I believe it will be some sort of cancel is gonna happen to the āhammerā curse of being a DF user.
