for ps2 i dont think it would work.
for ps1 games i dont think the ps3 requires you to press anything.
whatever controllers were on are still on when you run ps1 games.
These are CHEAP right now on ebay. I bought two. Was using a PS2 one with a Pelican converter, but this will be way cheaper/easier, and I don’t have to worry about wearing out what I use for the PS2.
I wouldn’t recommend buying the white ones. dpad isnt as tight and I had 2 stop working on me, one was the L button and the other the dpad literally broke off. I recommend the gray ones. Much tougher. I have 1 I bought before the white ones and its still going strong.
I don’t think the color matters. I’ve had two white, three purple and one black, they all eventually start to wear down, usually the dpad or shoulder button.
edit: well, for the PS2 at least. Never had a USB since they weren’t listed anywhere except like Yahoo Japan when I was looking for them two years ago or whatever. Are they making these again, I wonder?
Yeah, thats true but I’ve noticed the dpad on the whites are different than the grays. at least from my experience… the greys are definitely tougher (dpad).
got the white usb one from ebay, the dpad broke after 2wks
dont have other color ones, so can’t compare quality
