Can’t. Neither have nor will get the system for it, at least in the near future. Maybe someday it’ll be made available for PC, but I ain’t holdin’ my breath for it.

Sup Omaha. Just got words today that I got orders to Offutt, so figured I’d pop in and see whats up and get to know you guys. Won’t be until Feb when I get there, and orders may change by then, but we’ll see.
Well, cool cool. We have a pretty small scene but everybody seems to show up to monthlies. Hopefully this scene will grow by February.

If so I’m not too far from where you are at. I’m in Millard which is west of Bellevue. Anyhow I may be able to eventually get some casuals at my place but depends on what I get done in the basement.

Will do. Kinda sucks to leave Vegas, but it will be fun to see some place new (and maybe a lil less high speed/stress). I’m not worried about the small scene really. Vegas was fairly small and mostly just casuals a people’s houses, but now we have monthly/bi-monthly tourneys where anywhere from 50-80 people show, Insert Coin(s) help boost the scene even more, and Catalan has streamed games at his house every Tues. So I believe even a small scene can grow significantly, its just a matter of exposure and getting the word out.
What games do you guys mostly play anyways?
Marvel and Street Fighter. MK gets like 5 people at monthlies. We were getting about 30 people for SF and 20 for Marvel, about 35 all together with people who showed up not including the random MK players.
Ah, well I mostly play MK, but I’ll probably end up playing Marvel more when UMvC3 comes out, and since I got a free copy of PC AE for going to Evo, I might play that more as well.
Are their any arcades or places to hold gatherings? Or is it just mostly at someone’s house?
Sorry I left which seemed probably abrupt but I had been playing for an hour and I just wasnt feeling it last night. I think my 1yr could have beaten me last night. I will be in training mode extensively trying to learn how to crouch tech the ridiculous ass throws in SSF4. I swear once I figure how to stop jab, jab, jab, jab…throw or short, short, jab, jab, etc. throw, I will definitely have leveled up because I can seriously keep people out but once they get in which it is easy in this game I just fold. Anyways so if you see me in training mode that is what I will be doing.
This game can be so bullshit. I was playing Abel the past day or two and I couldn’t do shit with him. Trying out Dudley. Hopefully I like him so when 3SO comes out, I will have somebody to main.
Most of them are at Coliseum Gaming (A Magic The Gathering store) and we play in the back room. Seems ghetto, I know. Otherwise, we used to have monthlies at Family Fun Center (Arcade) but I don’t know what happened to those.
Good luck with 3SO. I won’t be getting it. There is no Dhalsim in that game (probably because there is no zoning in the damn game.) And really the only other character I would be remotely interested in is Urien and possibly Hugo.

Actually when you are watching somebody play you can record their match. Look at the bottom of the screen the next time you are watching (not playing) and you will see you can reocord and save it in your replay files. I have them on mine so if you want me to upload them for you I can. Let me know.
