Lets create our own 24 hour community of Nerds, we’ll have crazy adventures, good times, meet new friends, gain experiences to always remember.
This event will be from 10amSAT-1pmSUN (you don’t have to stay they entire time but you definitely welcome to)
ALL AGES from the hours of 10am-10pm Saturday after 18+ ONLY
To stay later than that you must have a signed consent form upon arrival and a legal guardian must check you in, the form will be posted for upload within a week from the event being posted.
(this is due to Bellevue curfew laws)
Come dress in what ever you want. Face paint, tribal paint, Cosplay, maybe as your favorite game character, or maybe in full camping gear. just have fun with it!
we have rented out a 2 level recreational event hall to create something special just for you. We will have the entire event space decorated and dressed up to when you walk in you will be immersed into a Nerd reality far beyond your imagination.
This event will be 100% FREE (excluding Tournament entry fees)
There will be a free food and Drink (while it lasts)
We also ask that if you are willing please contribute a food dish or item
to our feast Nerds. We believe in community sharing and contributing. This is not required however with the amount of people we expect to be feeding any and all contributions are welcome.
Camp Nerdtron will be comprised of Several Parts all devised to help you grow as a Nerd and make new experiences and friends while enjoying all the things that make us Nerds…well Nerds.

THE LAN PARTY (The Battle Den)
If you plan to participate in the LAN or any LAN related events (SEE BELOW)
MUST BRING–SPARES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE
-TV
-Xbox 360/Laptop or Desktop (Other systems/games are welcome for the LAN)
-Games and Controllers
-Ethernet Cable(s), the longer the better.
-Power Strip
Our good friends from 70MGame who specialize in large scale LAN Events will be joining us on this epic journey of Nerd running NT’s first ever LAN PARTY!
we will have tables, power stations, and Internet hookups (with speeds out of this world) For you to bring your screen, consoles, desktops, laptops, or whatever your awesome gaming set up is comprised of. Please email Thenerdtronfamily@gmail.com if you are interested in participating and reserving a station. We will do our very best to accommodate those who show up day of. However it would help us serve you better if you reserve.
Any and all games are welcome. However Primary games being played and those that will have tournaments held for them are listed in the GAMES PLAYING SECTION at the very bottom.
TOURNAMENTS
Nerdtron has tried to do these in the past and they’ve gone OK however this time we are going balls to the wall. With the help of…
70MGame - will be hosting all of our LAN related Tournaments
Coliseum Gaming - will be hosting all of our Table Top and Card Game related Tournaments
Marvelous Street Kombat - Will be hosting all fighting game related tourmanents
Tournaments will be separated into two categories based on priority and prior demand.
PRIMARY tournaments - Will have have prime time scheduling slots and require a $5 site fee in addition to the specific tournaments entry fee.
CASUAL tournaments - Will have a more flexible schedule and times will be based on real time demand. Also no site fee will be required for these tournaments just the specific entry fee
ALL tournaments will have a pot pay out of 70/20/10. Tournaments with a entry fee less than $5 will pay out to the 1st prize lower places will recieve non cash prizes.

If you see a tournament that you would like to register for please email us in advance especially if its a team tourney and you already have a team.We welcome out of state players in all tourneys.

Also the Nerd Lounge during tournament down times and chill moments will be the place that you can mingle grab something to drink something to bite on and relax with your friends and discuss that last match or game. Along with play some apples to apples or other games.
The Pirate Theater
Everyone knows that The Nerdtron Family loves pirates and anything that has to do with with them So in the main gaming LAN area and later on in our side screening room you will be able to view the following films in constant circulation

Crew/Camp/Clan/Guild SIGN UP
We always try to do something with each event that helps promote the group/community aspect
you will be able to sign up at the event as a PIRATE CREW, A CAMP, A GUILD or A CLAN. You choose your members give each other code names, give your group a name if you don’t already have one, we will also provide you with limited materials to make a pirate flag, camp banner, or Clan or Guild war banner. Also we will have special awards for activities you do with your clan. So don’t miss out If you would like to register your group ahead of time please Email TheNerdtronfamily@gmail.com all you need is at least 2 PEOPLE!
The Craft and Builder Station
The Rainbow Brights of The Nerdtron Family will be running the TCBS where you can forge weapons or armor from our extensive collection of cardboard and ductape(not sure why I used collection its brown and silver basically XD). Also you’ll be able to make raver kandi bracelets, Hemp jewelry, Popsicle stick thingy bobs and what ever else your heart desires. We encourage you to bring supplies if you would like to make special things we will have a limited amount of supplies for crafts. We will do our best to make sure all interested can participate.

• TOURNAMENT COMPETITORS If you’re coming to only compete in a tournament, and not stay and LAN or the rest of the event to game, we strongly recommend that you still bring your own Xbox 360/ps3/PC(whichever applies), controller, TV or monitor, and game. We will have will have some screens on site plus donations but it is unclear how many. Bringing your own gear will allow the tournaments to move much faster and, time allowing, a possible Free For All/Random tournaments may be held.
Those competing in PC based tournaments are required to bring all of their own equipment.*

However we always stay true to the heart and soul of what started Nerdtron…Nerds and helping people feel a part of something and bringing Nerds together to foster a bigger, stronger, more positive community.
Nerdtron has grown tremendously in the last year and a half. We’ve accomplished great feats and done things thought impossible by Nerds. We are known for our high intensity raves and insane off the wall at capacity warehouse and pool parties. Those things we feel make up the “Tron” part of our name. However this event we will truly encompass the “NERD” in NERDTRON.

It was nice seeing some of the Omaha SF folks at Nerdtron this past weekend.

From what I found, Dudley’s most useful option selects come from meaty :f:+:mk:
For example to stop back dashes on wakeup: meaty :f:+:mk:~ MGB. This would also work great for teleports and such.
meaty :f:+:mk:~EX jet upper to stop things like Bison EX Psycho Crusher
meaty :f:+:mk:~Ultra II similarly to the above but look more godlike.
I also happened to figure out Dudley’s safe jump timing off :l:+:mk: mess around and you should find it too. You can’t just hold up like you can with Ryu. There has to be a split second delay and then you jump. It isn’t much, barely enough time to start any sort of walking animation even
As for other characters, all I know are OSs for Sakura and Ryu. You’ll have to do some real digging to find good ones for all the characters.

I do not know if we met either at Nerdtron cause I left with my friends around 9 that day but I was the black kid in glasses in a green Nebraska shirt and a green hoodie who asked people questions about the scene. I played some AE2012 but only casuals cause I never got a chance to touch the game before in months along with melee and some Garou:MOTW on stick as well. I never entered any of the tourneys there at Nerdtron.
Yeah I showed up about 8:45ish for the tourney. I had to work earlier.

So movers came and snatched my stuff yesterday and I’m leaving Vegas Wednesday. I plan to be in Omaha by Sunday at the latest. I’ll update when I get there.
Where you moving to in Omaha? I work every day except monday and wednesday nights but I do get off at 8PM every night when I do work. Let me know where you’re moving to and maybe we can game soon. I think in May I am moving to the 90th and Blondo area. Currently living with family on 132nd and fort area.
