I’ll be there tonight, I’m not sure if John will be coming too but hopefully I can get a hold of his stick and bring it along so I’ll be able to bring the full PS3 setup. I definitely won’t be there precisely at 5, though.
UPDATE: John’s not comin’, but I’m bringing his stick.
GGs, last night was fun. I’m hella salty that I did so poorly. I’ve never played well in tournaments in the first place and I guess having a tournament be the first time playing in two and a half weeks didn’t help at all.
Yea it was a lot of fun I can’t believe I fought nothing but geif’s! ><
I got allot of good feedback for this so I think we’re gonna do this on the first Thursday of every month. We may also have random prize support for future tournaments also I got talked to by some random people from the shop, hoping to make it every Thursday.
Dude EkimRis your a good player you just Psyche yourself out. I’d really suggest thinking less, as soon as your calculating what there gonna do once you do it the closer you are to your opponent playing simple mind games and destroying you. React let your subconscious do the technical thinking mid match for you. After the match tho we all need to reflect more on what we did wrong. Thankfully we might have recording equipment next week, if I feel ambitious I may set up a stream but regardless I’ll upload any videos to a youtube channel I’ll create for us so we can reflect on our play.
Im glad there was that break, i had to remember how to do that short jump w/ Gief. I would have loss as your zoning was killing me…That last match for the finals w/ my Gief vs (alex) Gief was fun, dont know why you guys were puking everywhere…
About that recording equipment, i havne’t really got a chance to look for it yet. I haven’t used it in awhile & i’ve been so busy setting up my business. I’ll try looking for it though but no guarantees…I have an idea where its at but i have no idea where the software is…

So I had a lot of fun last week, and I may be able to show up more during this quarter, so I started digging around for my copy of SFIV, and of course it’s nowhere it should be. So much for getting any practice in.
Great games tonight as always, 3rd strike was a lot of fun. Thanks again to rcaido for 1 always showing up and 2 lending me an adapter to record matches, hopefully I’ll have it up and running for next Thursday, get us on youtube. And don’t forget February 4th will be our second tourney should get a pretty good turn out. I also wanted to welcome two new members Vincent and Kevin (?) who rocked us at 3rd strike. Also guys you should all PM me with your names and numbers so I can better organize stuff in the future.

Hey aburnflags, were you able to get that recording adapter to work? Let me know if you need help with any of that…I was able to find one of those wii adapters & busted out TvC & still works…I’ll try to find the other one so we can have maybe 3 setups going for next Thursday…GGPO on your laptop, maybe Ekimris will bring his setup, & we can hook up the Wii on the other TV…I have a feeling this comingThursday will have a nice turnout…
totally I’m really looking forward to it. I never figured ggpo would have such a good turnout however I may have a surprise for us next Thursday so you have to try and make Kryzak Sul =)
As for the game bridge thing, man it was a headache. Couldnt find the drivers for hours but finally I found em on a site a guy made to backup old drivers however I dont think its compatible with windows 7 =(
I was once King of Olympia fight scenes. Back when tilt was still at the food court in Capital Mall and Chris was manager. I remember I won KI, SF2, Tekken 3, Tekken Tag, and many other tourny down in olympia… good old olympia… they call me NinjaBoy aka bell

no problem man i understand i probably shouldn’t have gone myself with all the crap i have to do you didn’t miss much. Hooked up 3rd strike, sf4 and TvC we got a great turnout tho including some new guys, xeroxhands and co. Next week I think we’re going to buckle down and play sf4 with the tournament coming up Feb 4th. Good games guys, look forward to next week.

Hey aburnflags, Thursday was our biggest turnout…Are you sure you want to just have SFIV playing next week? Not everyone like SFIV me included haha, but i really think we need to focus on getting a huge community of fighting gamers in here be it SFIV, Tekken, TVC or even SFIII…The more people thatcome the more likely they will enter the tournaments, we might then be able to include other games too, not just SFIV…
I’ll be down for SFIV though as i need the practice but i think we should have that option…I fixed all my controllers too, you guys need to stop mashing too hard!
Whenever I end up using a stick that isn’t Aburn’s I always try to be overly careful with it. Probably isn’t helping me any actually do anything on them.
good to know you hold my stick in such high regard =P Oh totally Rcadio we’ll have other setups I’m sure I just kinda wanted to focus on sf4 but if you want to totally bring TvC again and I’ll always have my laptop with 3rd strike and (hopefully) jackie chans fists of fire
Oh and Xerox I may bomb over this weekend depending on how my homework shit is doing though unfortunately I don’t have a mode of transportation so pm me your address so i can find a bus route over.
I only have to treat your stick better than you do. If I set it on fire it would probably look better afterwards then after you sit down and try to learn new combos.
Also I got a live card, so we should play some.
