Hay so how did Friday go at play live? Did any of you guys go? Also happy 4th damn me and my brother are worn out. so let me know what happen?
The most important aspect of every match up against Abel is to remember that he doesn’t have footsies, he has step kick. When he’s out of step kick range, he’s trying to get into it. When he’s within step kick range, he wants to use it. In place of a footsie game, Abel has a “get in position to hit them with / make them block step kick” game.Once Abel has done that, consider yourself out footsied.You’re going to beat Abel by beating him at your optimal range(s), not his. Light spiral for Rose is a perfect example. After blocking it from max range, Abel will get counter-hit if he presses a button. If the rose player has the spacing down for max distance lk spirals Abel is forced to take a risk, which in the rose match up usually means using ex cod through a normal for oki. Don’t be afraid of ex cod; unless Abel has 3 meters for an fadc, he shouldn’t be using one meter for poor damage and shitty oki. You will eat ex cod’s, but most of the time they won’t mean much. Establishing your light spiral range game is the best way for rose to take on Abel.

The two kids (haha I’m old) who were with Ryan(iirc that’s his name. I’m really bad with names) playing Mortal Kombat were hilarious. Good kids.
Even though I went 0-2 I was flattered by how many compliments I got on my Yun. And it was pretty surprising since I’ve played AE a whole…MAYBE 2 hours since it’s been out. And I’ve barely watched any videos.
I hate Marvel 3.
As I was telling other people, I’m going to put MAME and a bunch of good fighters on my Laptop and bring it next week, hopefully.

So today we where going to play SSF4 and we don’t have it for our ps3 do any of you guys know what happen to it? On Thursday I remember playing it on casuals and then taking it over to the other table to play MK9 if any of you guys have it we would like to have it back. I need to work on getting player points for the ps3 :sad:
