You can make it a 2-player cab. Just replace the panel. Since you got an Atomiswave SD, you want to get the Taito Egret II or Egret III 2-Player panels. AkihabaraShop.jp only has the Egret III panel. It may seem expensive, but keep in mind that these panels do come with 2 JLF’s, 12 OBSF-30’s & 2 OBSF-24’s.

In other news, I cleaned my buttons a couple days ago. Just took em out and sloshed em around in some 99% isopropyl. Was easy and worked real well, no more gummy buttons… I recommend it.
