Olympia Fightclub!

Twins need to take on the cake burger at Patties, if they are coming to Tacoma on Sat. Worse comes to worse you can always split the check. Just an idea. I know Jon wanted to hit Patties up on Sat. Not sure when they close or if we are going before or after.

I also don’t know what systems they will be using and if they are updated. 4 monitors does no good if there isn’t enough games or consoles. Not sure if they will have any extra stations for casuals during the tournament, how the seeding is gonna be or how they are creating brackets. I guess we will have to just wait and see. I’m not gonna play in the tournament either but I’ll be there as well.

Also here’s a the facebook event page if you guys are interested in it…

MY WHOLE LIFE HAS LEAD UP TO THIS, LET ME TAKE ON THIS BEAST

This is most likely what I’ll be doing there too haha.

Chad if you take on “the beast” and win you deserve something special. Like maybe a cute little sticker you can put on your skateboard.

Hi guys

I’m from San Diego and I will be in Kirkland this week for business. Was wondering if this is still going on and would like to play sf ae

I won’t have a stick with me. Just curious if this scene is still alive for sf aw or st

Thanks!

Kirkland is about an hour drive to Lacey/Olympia. There is still small gatherings happening here every at Gabi’s Olympic Cards and comics on Thursday nights.
Another Castle up in Edmonds, WA on Thursday nights would be a much closer drive. Also, Gamebreakerz in Auburn, WA on Friday nights and Saturday Slugfest monthly tournament at Gameclucks in Lynnwood, WA on the 12th. That’s pretty what’s happening this week.

Thats sounds like there is a lot and an hour away isnt terrible. Any links for the Edmonds gathering?

WA has pretty much converted to Facebook for posting up events and here is the facebook event pages for them, I’m not sure if you need to have a facebook account to view them. Just in case you can’t access the info I’ll put them in the spoilers:

I want to say thanks to everyone last night for cheering me on in the tournament. You guys believe in me but, I failed you and got 2nd. I felt the killing intent from you all wanting that 1st. Keep on believing, cheering and supporting me. In short all I want to say is Thank You guys.

I think you did great Vincent and you and Ryan definitely represented the talent down in Olympia and obviously if I hadn’t whispered in Ryan’s ear he would have done much better. Does this make me the evil twin now?

Scumbag Pat!!

Does anyone still play at game works in Seattle? I’m itching to play some ae and that’s the only place I know where to go since I’m in kirkland

Gameworks can be pretty random for AE. Most of the time I guess they just play at Duggish or Buktooth’s house. I know that they KOF guys like to play and meet there but I think KOF interest is waning as of late. All I can say is that looking for good competition at Gameworks is a shot in the dark.

Last time I checked , there isnt AE:2012 at the Seattle GameWorks,. But you can usually find one or two guys there in the mid afternoon who are still willing to play.
If you have the time, tomorrow night we’ll be having our weeklies at Olympic Cards in Comics down here- I know it may be a bit of a drive and the turnout will probably only be about 10 people; but it’ll be nice to see a fresh face haha. We start around 6 and end our around midnight.

Yeah I’m actually looking forward to the Thursday night weekly. If my wife doesn’t come into town tomorrow I’ll be there for sure

So Tuesday is Auburn?

They moved to Fridays.

Also, sup guys. Grats on 2nd Vincent!

EDIT: Specifically, every other Friday, but this Friday is one of them and then they have a monthly going on Saturday the 29th.

Tonight. Marvel, my apartment. After 6:00. Let’s go.

I’m going to pick up Chad on Sat. for “Battle for Seattle”, the poverty games monthly tournament. They are having SF4 this month so if anyone wants to head down with us let me know.

Is the monthly at GameBreakerz next weekend? If it is, I’m going. Does anyone need a ride? Trying to convince Lewis to go too.

Olympia’s representingggggggggggggggggggg, yo
