The reason why Ryus ultra seems to do so much cause usually in combos its like the 2nd to 3rd attack so it doesnt scale that much, plus ryu linked normals is hp shoryu already did a shit ton of HP.
Chuns bnbs dont do that much damage and by the time she lands ultra its only doing like 50% or less of the ultras damage.
Chuns new ultra does something really weak like 350 or something at full. Ill say 380 for now cause im not positive.
YEah, after the scaling I think Chuns bnb > Ultra is like 300 MAX.

Indeed. A lot of people disagree but I think her new ultra is going to be the n00b cannon, where a lot of the experienced chun players will stick with U1 unless it’s really not usable in the match at all. It’s super versatile, can combo off of a shitload of stuff, but you’re only guaranteed a little extra damage since most of her BnBs tend to have more hits than most do. I love the idea of Kiko for certain things, but overall I’m still finding more and more uses for U1 and may stick with it for a majority of my gameplay.
Clayton, while its hard for me to say until I get the game, I do kinda feel the same way.
There are obvious matches where I’ll use U2: Rufus, Sakura, Sim, Boxer.
And I’m not even sure on those…well, except for Rufus.

Yeah, SSF4 Sagat looks like he requires a lot more thought, skill, and meter management.
He almost looks like a fun character to play in Super…
As much as I know you hate him, I’d say you should pick him up for super since you like having reliable anti airs

I am currently(and probably will be during the semesters) in champaign and i have been playing sf4 for a while now. Unfortunately i do not think i am as good as anyone on this board considering i don’t have much vs experience against people lol. Either way, i would love to be able to join you guys to play sf and get better…

We meet every Friday, the first post of this thread should cover most of that. We play on both PS3 and 360 with plenty of sticks so that shouldn’t be an issue. Where do you live? There’s a bunch of us that live by the Six Pack which is where we usually get picked up.
