have you been there? It’s well warranted. I’ve been to a lot of places in Europe, and some citizens genuinely seem friendly when you chat with them. The two times I was in france, everybody was a complete dick. And everybody I know who has gone to France has had an issue with the citizens. I have 3 friends who got into fights with people there. Seriously how many vacations you been on where you had to fight somebody?
I hate the french with a mighty passion. Fucking cowards and cynical assholes, one and all. And it doesn’t help that I have to deal with Canadian french too. They manage to find a way to be even bigger assholes than France assholes.

I know it all too well. Parisian(not french mind you) dudes are really assholeish and racist on top of that. But the chicas are very friendly. Excessively so even.
I personally never had any issue since I speak perfect french, and that’s basically what decides whether they hate you or not. But I have friends too with similar stories.
But yeah, French people in general are really nice. The issue is that the Parisians are not and since that is where most tourists visit and get their first impression, well you know the rest.
