TARQUIN IS IN ANOTHER TIME ZONE!
I run through battletoads/ battletoads double dragon every now and again.
Streets of rage 2/remake. Best beat em up of all time, followed by river city ransom.
Splinter cell chaos theory. Amazing game, and visually way ahead of its time.

yea, my arcade is the shit.
I’m just about at the end of my re-playing of Xenogears. Gotta go back and buy two more Z-Chargers from Joe and I think I’m gonna max out my characters, too, before going back to Deus, just because I never unlocked all the deathblows when I beat the game back in the day.

Crap? That makes the younger, foolish version of me feel even more foolish. Played the arcade version back in the day, always figured the high difficulty was worth the challenge. Only remember getting to the baseball stadium level.
(sigh) Why do I adore games I’m otherwise terrible at?
Alpha 3 and CvS2 at an arcade still has me mad jealous. Throw in some Blazblue, KOF 2002, and KOFXIII and that’d be even more badass.
I can’t ever get back into Xenogears. Shit took me 2 months when I was in high school and I had time, compared to the 4 days it took me to beat Final Fantasy 9… I’m on my 3rd month of playing FF9 because I work and don’t have time to devote… I’d start Xenogears and not get done for like 2 years.
That IS a good point. I mean, I’m itching to go through Suikoden V again, but I have to go through III and IV to give them a shot and Suikoden V is damn long too.

Lately I’ve been playing the shit out of Dungeon Keeper 1.
This game was WAY ahead of it’s time and the sequel went backwards in terms of innovation IMO.
Right now I’m playing this fan made campaign that is hard as hell, but it is fun playing something that challenges my 15 year knowledge of the game.

^^ 40 built-in Genesis games! The unit itself is of nice quality but it runs on emulation, so games play great but aren’t entirely faithful. Video emulation is good for the most part and audio is pretty decent, but has issues. Being a Sega fanboy i realize Atgames reputation in the market but was curious, and to play those titles i don’t have. Its not bad at all and pretty awesome for the money.
Wireless pads are hit & miss though, but things are great with a wired controller.
