I think I may have some talent in that particular direction, but the majority of it is practice. What I used for refference and Ideas are the hot rod and lowrider magazines I found in the stores. Another really lucky find was the artwork of a man by the name of Andrew Bennett. FYI, he’s the creator of an old Image comic called Brass. To this day, I’ve never seen a more detaile-obsessed artist than him anywhere.
