I also found a setup after raida also. I’ll probably test and record a few more setups and throw them up on my YouTube channel
Hey guys,
Just picked up the custom combo editor for the hell of it today and found that you can make the pseudo-vortex even easier:
From a neckbreaker set-up: just make a CC of LK CD, HK CD. Once you hit that neckbreaker, just mash on that custom combo and you will end up on the other side of them if they roll OR just rise normally. This CC also works for a sweep. I’m assuming if you put MK CD as your 2nd entry into the CC, you’ll end up on their front side, but I haven’t tested this yet.
It costs a meter, but sometimes easy pressure is priceless.
Just to add:
I haven’t found a CC dash combo that works after a tsumuji ender knockdown. Ibuki basically always ends up far away.
Anyway, going back to the above post, if you really want to be evil, you could have the LK CD, HK CD custom and then for the other CC: LK CD, HK CD, (F+MK), TC4 xx neckbreaker…repeat. If you get a knock down once and have 3 bars, theoretically this could be a pseudo TOD. Obviously it’s defeated by people who can mash fast reversals like the shotos, people who block high the correct way, etc. But this gimmick could work once or twice before someone would catch on.
This is just my mediocre tinkerings, but I feel like there’s a lot of potential game-breaking stuff buried in this custom combo system.
