Lol Yeah I’d rather have rain than this stuff. It was hard getting out of the drive way. I almost fell on my face trying to push the car (luckily nobody noticed lol). I had to help the neighbors too.
I walked downtown today for xmas shopping. The roads are pretty fucking bad AND there was tons of traffic. I am a really good driver, but this shit is riDICKulous.
I can’t even get out, snow up like half way pass my tires.
i went to bed at 5 am and got up for some morning conference calls thinking i could go back to sleep since i’m trapped here and not risking my life to go to work.

My car isn’t going to be moving anywhere for a at least 2 days now that its parked in the ocean of snow that is my driveway. So I’m walking to the mall today.
This is actually my favorite kind of weather. I don’t have a car anyway, so I can make it in to work and get paid for shifts other people can’t drive to. Plus the snow absorbs enough sound to make walking miles around town quieter and more relaxing.
Mid-20s and walking through snow > mid-30s and walking through rain. At least cold snow is dry.
We have gotten about a foot of snow around our neighbor hood. I’m more irritataed that the City of Bellevue is focusing on making sure Downtown Bellevue’s roads are completely bare (First time i seen concrete in 4 days) But shits on the rest of the area…I think i’m going to make a snowman today.
Seriously. It’s rediculous. Seattle is more concerned about the enviroment then anything else. “Seattle refuses to use salt; roads “snow packed” by design”

Really? Cause using salt on the roads is really going to hurt the Puget Sound when it’s already SALTWATER & we aren’t using as much as other states who get 10x the amount of snow we just got.

If someone tried going up your hill in the snow, they would slide back down into a crowded intersection. I don’t see how anyone could come or go from your place?
Thats what happened yesterday at the hill by my place, people couldn’t stop going down or keep going up.
My boss was driving me home in his beast of an suv and was like, “hey, we’re going down that”
Freaked me out because we were like spinning until we hit the curb, but after that it was alright.
