there’s some cuties on this downhill skiing event. Shanon Barhke could get the meat…she’s alright, and I saw some nice canadian broads too.
…annnnd this reminds me of one of the big reasons I’m not such a fan of the winter olympics— the TnA value. It’s tough to check things out since they’re all wearing like 10 layers of clothing. Summer Olympics puts ASS and beautiful legs all over your tv screen. Summer Olympics TnA = superior.

“Oh shit. Oh shit! OH SHIT!” - My dad cheering for the Koreans in the 1500m short track.
A podium sweep would have been absolutely ridiculous.

sigh Dang Koreans, had to try to beat each other instead of trying to keep Ohno off the podium completely and fucked each other up. Oh well, at least he didn’t get the gold, so I will have to settle for that.

Prorogation is an insult to the democratic process and to the Canadian electorate
http://www.thedailyobserver.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2448870
Editor:
Prime Minister Stephen Harper was wrong again: Canadians do care about the democratic process. Contrary to the expectations of the Conservatives, thousands of Canadians took to their local streets a few weeks ago to protest Stephen Harper’s plan to avoid accountability and responsibility -the prorogation of Parliament.
Harper and his supporters claim that prorogation is a legitimate tactic, one used by other governments as well. This childish excuse however -“they did it first” -misses the point and further shows Harper’s lack of connection with Canadians. With his action, Harper has killed 36 bills, wasting the efforts of months of work spent on them, all this from a Prime Minister who complains that Parliament is not working because of the opposition.
Prorogation has rarely ever been so cynically and frequently used - twice in one year. Does anyone really believe that the government needed to prorogue parliament to “recalibrate” their options, rather than escape accountability to Parliament? Is this the government “accountability” Harper vowed to restore only four years ago?
Ultimately, however, Harper’s most recent misuse of prorogation is but a symptom, not the root cause, of a more serious ailment. And Canadians have made their diagnosis. They know that in showing this contempt for Parliament and the democratic process, Harper is showing contempt for the population, the electorate. Such contempt has been revealed through the dismissal of public servants (one example was Linda Keen, nuclear safety official), the muzzling of Conservative MPs and ministers to avoid open contact with the media and populace, the issuing to Conservative MPs the secret handbook on how to disrupt and hinder Parliamentary committees, the launching of personal attack ads between campaigns, the smearing of opposition MPs as anti-semitic, the attack on the personal character and integrity of critics (the Canadian diplomat Richard Colvin), the personal use of the military in an attempt to advance the image of the Conservatives, the further appointments in his recent stacking of the senate, and the boycotting of the military parliamentary committees of inquiry (Afghan detainees). The list goes on.
Harper prorogued Parliament simply because he could. Not because it was good for the country, but because he thought it would bring the Conservatives partisan benefit, regardless of the cost to Canada.
Thousands have marched to tell him he was wrong. They demon-stated to demand that he respect both the democratic process and the needs of Canadians.
Looks like the Liberals will be taking over again next election.

ok, I don’t usually like the winter olympics but that was definitely a classic moment there. That 1 Korean speedskater would be wise to avoid the public eye for a long time, and hope people eventually just forget about this fiasco. They HAD it in the bag, dude got greedy and fucked it up. That other guy still snagged gold though.

whoah whoah…did Wyclef lose his damn mind? Did anyone else see the new “We Are the World”? NBC just showed it a little while ago. Each time they went to Wyclef’s part in the song, it sounded completely ridiculous…like one of those bad American Idol auditions where you KNOW the person was just trying to be a silly “character” so he could get 15 minutes of fame.
For a second, I thought that shit was an SNL Digital Short, no lie.
^_-;
What would have been EXTRA epic woulda been if that 1 moron korean skater took out ALL THREE Koreans and the “Hated in Korea” Apolo Ohno won the gold because of it, that would have made me laugh for DAYS.
Kid would probably be lynched when he got home or something. He’s lucky his country won Gold anyway.

Dude that was brutal. You know it’s bad when you stop cheering for your own team cause the other is getting destroyed.

There’s only 2-3 countries that really take women’s hockey seriously. Canada tends to steamroll people until finals.
That team was the same one who beat another 82-0. Then they get trounced 18-0. Oh sweet justice.
Hockey is always serious business.
