I preorderd the TE one yesterday at gamestop. I cant wait!

i just preordered this from gamestop. took a hit on the shipping to Canada, but well worth it (i hope).

it shouldn’t be out of stock already right? i don’t want to consider myself lucky to have preordered now and not search other venues that might have a better guarantee for me to receive one and then end up not getting it from gamestop…

Indeed, I have contacted the NZ online store that usually handles this kind of thing (mightyape.co.nz) and am trying to get them to order some sticks, but they don’t know anything yet… would be really good if the madcatz/capcom side of things get a bit of prodding to make us distant cousins happy chappies.

Capcom will be there with SF4 and you can play it on the Tournament Edition FightSticks and FightPads!

Might see some of you guys there… btw there is a $5 cover charge I think.

Has anyone on here used the SFIV pads? How do they compare to a ps3 pad? Aren’t they supposed to be similar to a Saturn pad? How do those compare to ps3 pads(haven’t felt once since I got rid of my Saturn 9 years or so ago)?

Not able to get consistent fireballs or dragon punches…hoping the new pads will help somewhat.

Can someone tell me why they always put that little ball on the joystick instead of putting on the exlamation point like they have at real arcades? It doesnt make sense, I want a REAL arcade stick. I’m still gonna get this one though lol.

This is a REAL stick, a REAL Japanese style stic. American sticks have the bat (exclamation) top. The Japanese (ball) tops are pretty sweet in my opinion, but it’s realy personal preference.

Yeah, the switch from ball top to bat top is real easy. The actual feel (as in the way it operates) is very different from an American to a Japanese stick.

is anyone able to preorder the ps3 fightpad through gamestop in person? i went to three gamestops today in the anaheim region and none of them had the fightpad available for preorder.
