Sorry I won’t upload the template until mid Feb.

Man, people on Kotaku sure do know how to whine.

I have a question printing art for the template. Would a Fed Ex Kinkos be the best place to print it? I’m completely new to this…

I print the artwork people want for customs at Kinkos. Some Kinkos have issues though with printing out copyrighted material, so you may have to look elsewhere.

Thanks, I hope the one close to my school won’t give me a hard time.

As a heads up, the artwork on the TE is a decal fused on the bottom of an acrylic sheet.

I will give a template/measurement of the art thickness out in the future.

You don’t need the acrylic layer on it, it’ll still sit flush with the sticks/buttons. But if I were ya’ll I’d get an acrylic layer cut to cover new artwork u put on.

any news on when the preordering and availability for the u.k is gonna start ???

in one video it says you can put custom artwork, yet markman you say its fused onto the acrylic. does that mean madcatz will sell blank acrylics in the future for custom artwork? i dont get it.

I guess we’re going to have to void the warranty to change the artwork then?

are you serious.lol. Yes is made by madcats. The controllers, the Tournament Edition Stick, and the Fighting stick.

He means the joystick actually INSIDE of the fightstick.

You’re damn right.

I like the stick the way it is. Just incase anything does happen to the stick, i will still be covered by madcatz warranty.

meaning that the acrylic is stick together with the art. So if you want to put new art and you don’t want mess it up, is better off if you buy an acrylic sheet and cut it with the dimension of TE Stick. Another way might be to laminate your custom artwork since the buttons can hold the art. An idea.

After having looked at all the various premium arcade sticks online, I came to the conclusion I wasn’t going to find something better that was ready to plug and play for the price. So I pre-ordered two just before some shops stopped taking orders.

I got two 360 sticks and figure if I need a PS3 version, I’ll try the XCM 360 to PS3 adapter. One of them will likely only see PC usage though.

I like the artwork on it save for the large “IV” with a black outer glow on it. It clashes with the overall design, but not enough for me to dislike the stick.

Yeh. TE has the JLF, the normal Fightstick has a Madkatz knockoff.

just a quick question for all out there how know it maybe

how dose a sanwa stick feel instead as excampel the cheap horiex2 i only got cheap sticks till now and im intrested in in wich way the stick and the buttos are diffrent can somebody describe it please?

That’s a shame. So obviously Madcatz won’t be selling official templates or anything. Oh well, at least you guys went with something neutral instead of a specific character or something.

I pretty much decided against buying a TE stick but then you guys had to release all the new info/pics/video… so I just payed for 2 360 TE’s at the gamestop down the street. Can’t wait till they finally ship.

Only thing I was wondering is that feature someone mentioned about putting 2 side by side and forming a 2 player panel (of sorts) make it into the final design? Either way thanks to everyone involved at Capcom/MadCatz/etc for getting something like this avalible at retail in the US.

Does it really matter if you void the warranty or not? The TE is the most mod friendly joystick ever. If you have an issue with the stick or buttons just buy them from LL or akihabara and replace them. If there’s an issue with the pcb buy a Madcatz pcb from a store and hack it.

Check the video with Seth Killian. The rubber feet on the bottom can be removed to expose holes for mounting the stick(s) onto a wood surface like a coffee table.
