Strange that in a previous post you express your concern that st guys are causing a split but then proceed to bring up the most dividing conversation in american street fighter history, the east vs west nonsense.

As far as who’s better or worse, i dont really care. All i know is that we are bringing new people into st and even have even helped some get setups. Most of the people you have brought up there either dont play or care about sf2 anymore. If being the best coast is that important to you then you should keep in mind that we play on sbo standard equiptment every week while you folks seem to concentrate on hdr, which is not the future.

As far as your question goes, i would wager that most if not all of the 2010 qualifier entrants would have been at a west coast event if held there. These are all people that give a crap and most have traveled to evo from the east (btw TN was not close for anyone) A better question is “how many west coast players would go to evo if it was in the east?” apparently the answer is 0.

Even if west coast do have more players and more big names, you cannot deny that these people from the east coast are working very hard. TN is not exactly close to east coast anyway and you see how many people from east coast flying in to participate.

Axel is starting a local danisen battle @ their arcade too. I appreciate these people’s effort to promote the scene. Whether the west coast have the better players or not isn’t a big deal when some of them only play when it is convenient. And I’m talking to you, afro

BTW, people seemed to hate willdestroya quite a bit because of his trolling. But that guy is participating in a lot of offline tourneys. Please give him some props just for trying.
