most impressive. i find the ryu v guile match even harder now for guile with ryu having fake fireball. but somehow he does it

yea i was there it was about 40.

here are some notables:

-daigo used only guile and sagat the entire tournament. (my personal theory is because of sf4)

-snake eyez was having some pad issues. you could tell when he went for a sweep a few times and got a standing kick.

-japanā€™s sako (of vampire savior and sf4 fame) entered in HDR. he only played ryu. you could tell he is pretty competitive ST player but kinda rusty. also looked like he did some sf4 combos and we know how much he plays that game.

-jwong refused to money match snake eyez when asked.

-DGV had to face both daigo and tokido. ouch!!!

-2009 evo champ afrolegends couldnt make it out. :frowning:

-john choi forfeited all his matches (im assuming in favor of his sf4 pool, but who knows for sure.)

-aquasnake took me out just like he does at every denjin ranbats

fun fact: DNGR S PAPERCUT won the ā€œcold turkeyā€ single elimination hyper fighting tournament in the hotel after. he cps1 chained everybody to death with ryu.

for those who were wondering i asked tokido what he though about HDR and he said he isnt 100 percent familiar with the changes yet cuz he doesnt practice it or even ST anymore, but from what he knows so far he likes it. also said he likes widescreen mode.
